Great, friendly staff, nearly all of who can speak English. There is so much to do on the site, with an extensive programme of activities throughout the day and into the evening. The outdoor pool is great for babies and the kids with slides and water features. 27 degrees outdoors 30 indoors. We expected the pools to be cold, so this was welcome. The restaurant food is decent and what you’d expect from a campsite, but a bit pricey, but so are most places in France. Burger, chips, prawn salad, 2 deserts, aperol spritz and a large leffe was €60. Pizza chips and a goats cheese salad was €24. The majority of placements are chalets, but we booked a serviced pitch for a caravan, £150 for the week, which is a lot cheaper than England these days. The shower block and washing up facilities are well kept, clean, and there are plenty of them. The rubbish and recycling bins are outside of the site over the road which is a bit inconvenient but in a way it’s good as it keeps away flies etc. there’s also a couple of goats on site, tennis courts, a baby play room, kids clubs, bikes and karts for hire. Kids absolutely loved it. Regarding previous reviews of non English speaking entertainment, this didn’t seem to affect any of the English speaking families or kids who were staying this week. They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Also worth buying your tickets for local attractions (zoo, castles etc) from reception on site - they’re slightly discounted and saves you queuing to buy tickets once you get there. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed here 3 years ago with two other families. We loved it. It was very friendly and reasonable. We have been on 9 different Yelloh holidays in the last 5 years and overall they have been great. But over the last two years we have noticed significant changes and not for the better. At this site the prices for the activities are all wrong. They add an extra euro onto most advertised prices. A large portion of chips is 8 and a half euros! And all, yes all activities are run completely in French. No translation of anything. Our French is quite good but not the children's. Kids Club, no English is used. Is that fair for an 8 and 10 year old? It just made them not want to go. The evening entertainment is just as inhospitable due to a total lack of allowance for any non fluent French speakers. If Yelloh want a purely French speaking clientelle then why market to the British Market at all? Reception staff are abrupt, Animation staff are not great. However the accommodation is lovely and the shop and bar staff try hard. Maybe, with all that said, it may be time for us to start looking at Eurocamp where I believe more effort is made to be just a little more accepting and bilingual with their cross channel customers.

Site - Clean, spacious, high quality pitches and well set out. Entertainment - Good kids activities and club. Really high quality. Activities for all weather types. Pools - Indoor and outdoor which are both heated. Really clean and well maintained. Slightly on the small side but we are here in August and there is plenty of room. Compared to sites in the south much better. Shop / Bar / Restaurant - all good quality and staff friendly and really helpful. Area - looks amazing, we are only here for a stopover but will be coming back in May to visit the locations, do some canoeing and cycling on the river and of course sample the vinyards. This is an excellent site and would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 10 nights and we weren't dissapointed. Pitches are a generous size and well maintained. The site as a whole was very clean, although the pool area could have been a bit cleaner, the pool was a bit on the small side for the size of the site and would get very crowded. There was plenty going on, on site with children's clubs, golf, pony rides, bouncy castles and trampolines. The pool had slides and there was also a bouncy water slide accessed through the pool area. There was evening entertainment, restaurant bar and takeaway, the restaurant was slightly cheaper than the takeaway, and a mini market on site which was well stocked. Most staff were polite and very helpful. The recycling area was out of the site and across the road, although the road is very quiet. The roads leading to his site can be narrow in places and we were lucky not to have oncoming vehicles. There is a laundry room on this site, would reccomend the one behind reception as the ones by the sanitary block are on the small side and don't dry as well as the others.

This is a great campsite. The miniclub, trampoline park, bouncy castles, playground, stage area and bar area are all centralised, making it really safe for kids to have some freedom while remaining in sight. Staff were all wonderful and the entertainment was really exceptional particularly in the evenings. Accomodation was well kitted out. Only negative, swimming pools are busy in afternoons and get overcrowded.

Hello Rich! Thank you for your feedback about your stay at our campsite. We are planning to make big woeks for 2021 at the aquatic park. It will be much bigger with another pool, more sliders, and much more space for everyone. That should be appreciated by all. Best regards

Due to many diversions and one wrong turn we arrived late to the campsite. Two of our party had stayed here last year and knew where to go for the keys, taped to the board beside the office. The envelope also contained the code for the barrier. Within a few minutes we were installed. The site is well run. The onsite restaurant has a good menu and we enjoyed the meals we had there. We were in the area to explore the wine region and this campsite was a great base. The onsite shop was well stocked and prices were reasonable. Evening entertainment was a bit scarce but it was early in the season. We were quite happy to make our own entertainment. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Stayed here for 10 nights in August the busiest time for the site. The cabin we had was excellent, and seemed new, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large deck with plenty of shade. Its location was excellent, not being directly overlooked. Facilities on site are excellent, the pool complex being great, but can get busy. 10 animators ran the kids clubs and evening entertainment. Excellent on-site shop The only criticism I had was the price of drinks and meals was quite high, so we didn't use them that much. I can't comment on the camping facilities, but if they are up to the standard of the cabin then you'll be fine here.

We stayed only one night and it is a good site. The place was clean and it had great facilities. The staff were friendly and there was a lovely pool (and another one that is heated) to go relax by. This is certainly a big family spot. We were there in low season and the restaurant menu is very limited as there are only a few staff on hand to run the entire place. My only other issue was the flat beer i had from the bar. Other than that it was a lovely stay and a nice region to be in. Well worth it to stay here if you want to go view the Chateaux in the surrounding areas

We have just spent 6 days at this Yelloh parc. We stayed in chalet 608 & 609 with friends and have had a fabulous holiday. The chalets were top of the range and really were spectacular! They have 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, a modern kitchen with all necessary appliances and cutlery etc. Wonderful large decking with outdoor seating for 6 and 2 sun loungers, with a gate you can close for privacy and to stop little ones wandering off which is great for peace of mind. The parc itself is very good for kids. Trampolines at no extra cost, football pitch, climbing frame, swings, slides, basket ball, Mini golf at a cheap €1 charge! You can hire 2 or 4 seater bikes on the site also. There is an indoor mildly heated large pool and hot tub and an outdoor pool, baby pool and water slides which at great fun for all ages!! There is entertainment every night, various kids clubs for all ages from 0-teenagers doing different activities like sports or arts/crafts even pony rides for the little ones!! The restaurant is pretty expensive for the quality/choice. Expect €15 per main course for a burger/pasta/pizza dish. The on site shop is also pretty expensive but fairly well stocked and convenient. It does shut at 8pm though so stock up early. The laundrette is €6 for the washing machine and €4 for the dryer. Receptionists were very helpful and multilingual also. It was my sons 10th birthday and they gave us some wonderful assistance in finding a local bowling alley which was great fun and also had an English speaking staff member when we got stuck with our terrible French! There is an incredible restaurant just 7-8 mins drive from this parc that I have also reviewed called “Auberge de la croix Blanche” which was Devine!! It absolutely made our holiday coming across this little quaint restaurant and the food was amazing!! There are a number of shops locally - a little village that mainly opens 9am-12.30pm and 14.30-17:00pm. There is a good pharmacy here, a bank, a bakery, a convenience store amongst other things. The best supermarket for us was the “casino” supermarket which is well stocked. Also has a petrol station on site which is convenient. For a day trip, go to the safari train! An average of €7 per head but it’s a wonderful experience where your children will get to hand feed deer and emus! Wonderful! All in all, a wonderful holiday in excellent accommodation. The setting is beautiful and location very convenient!

We stayed 10 nights in August in a 3 berth cottage at this park. Facilities were great, exceptionally clean and well kept. The cottage was lovely - my only issue is that they could do with some fly screens on windows. The site was fab for us with a 5 year old and 2 year old. Great aquatics area, and only once in 10 days could we not find a lounger which was amazing given it was peak time! The kids absolutely loved the slides, the fountains and jets. Not a swimmers pool, but great for holiday fun. The evening entertainment was brilliant and really varied and over 10 days there was something for everyone - magicians, circus acts, live music, quizzes etc. The kids playground was big and sheltered from the sun which was good. Great soft play type room for the two year old to get out of the sun in. Kids club had loads on and was free - we only used it once but 5yo had fun. The games and kids activities near the bar were brilliant - we could relax with a drink (mostly) in view of bouncy castles, games room, trampolines and play area. The bar and restaurant isn't gourmet cuisine, but was fine for what it was (comparable to a Haven or similar onsite restaurant/bar in UK). The wine selection wasn't great, which was a real shame given where we were - it would be nice to have a bigger range of local wine on offer. The takeaway was really handy and yummy pizzas. We visited Tours (45mins) Amboise (20 mins) Chanonceau (30 mins) and Chambord (40mins) while we were there - all were easy to get to and you get a small discount buying tickets on site. If we do this sort of holiday again we may move around to a few sites as 10 days was just edging onto being too long, but if you want a great family base in a beautiful area of France then this is for you. The major downside of the site is the expensive wi-fi - its offered for free so much these days, its a shame they can't do this.
