Just returned from my 4th visit and Majahuitas never disappoints! The location is a dream, the open-air casitas are beautiful and charming, clean and peaceful, and the staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful, and well organized. It's a perfect vacation whether you want to do a lot - like swim, hike, kayak, fish, zip line - or do nothing at...

I returned yesterday, 04/25/17, from probably the most natural, beautiful place that I have ever visited. My family and I arrived at Majahuitas Resort on 04/20/17 for a very anticipated visit. From the moment we stepped off the boat to the minute we had to painfully leave, it was amazing. The service, food, drinks, friendliness, and overall beauty of the...

A pristine beach and a jungle in one. In addition to great service and a chance to see whales. Luna, a local labrador, will alert you to their presence in the proximity. At Majahuitas I had the best octopus I ever had!

Another fabulous week in paradise! This was our second visit, staying in Los Arcos again with another couple, and it was pure heaven. We did not want for anything. The staff went out of its way to ensure our stay was fantastic. A giant shout out to Alex and Gerinimo (??sp)...never a dull moment. We were lucky enough to meet...

My wife and I are return visitors to Majahuitas, last there 6 years ago with our children. It was way too long between visits. This stay we were able to spend our three nights in Casa Cliff. As the name suggests, it is situated overlooking the property and is isolated from the other houses so does take a bit of...

We loved our three day stay at Majahuitas. All the casitas have their own charm, and I would not hesitate staying in anyone of them -- in other words, don't let the availability of them dictate your dates. That said, some casitas have more beds than others, so larger groups/families will want to select an appropriate one. For people who...

Staying at the Majahuitas Resort is a unique experience I am so glad I was able to enjoy. All three daily meals are included, and they are outstanding. We especially enjoyed the group dinner, to meet the other guests. That made the experience, meeting guests from all over, so much more enjoyable. That there are only 8 cottages allows very...

We spent a week at the Majahuitas resort over Christmas with our three kids (14, 12, and 8) and it was the BEST family vacation and the BEST way to spend Christmas together. No cell phones, no internet, just quality family time. The food was amazing every day. They prepared a beautiful Christmas night buffet and we ate on the...

Our trip to Majuhuitas resort was a success. We travelled with two kids who also thouroughly enjoyed the resort. They have free kayaking, and a hike to a waterfall which were appreciated by the kids. The 4 friendly labradors are also nice to have around. It was the first time we really had this open air casa type of accomodation...

Reading thru reviews by others, there's little that I can add. The place is like a little paradise; the service is impeccable. The food is great. The beach is relaxing. The staff was able to cater to our food limitations without any problem. We were joking amongst ourselves that they are taking care of our diets more than we would typically...
