Oh my goodness. I don't have enough time, space or energy to tell you how wonderful this place is! The staff, the food, the guides....all 5 star, first class. The guides were so amazing. The found leopards , cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, giraffes....so many things we saw! The Sundowners in the bush...WOW! Every time I left my room, it was "tidied" when I returned.. I never saw the person who did this. The food was amazing. The rooms were so comfortable. I HOPE to go back here one day! Private and low key. You will love this place!

In this magical place I felt as if I were in a movie. The beauty of nature around the house blended with the elegant and comfortable decoration of the spacious rooms and the extraordinary service together with delicious meals made me feel in a dream. This is among the most high quality places that I've ever been to.

I can't recommend this location enough Kifaru House is like a small luxurious village with the friendliest staff who all have a ready smile and happy to attend to your every need. Johnson took us touring the savannah and was extremely insightful and knowledgeable about all the wildlife & fauna. Godfrey hosted us for a walk with one of the rangers and told us about the landscape and about being a Maasai Warrior. We were only there for two days and I didn't want it to end. The food was 5 star, delicious!

We spent one night at Kifaru House, went on a game drive and spent time at the Lewa conservancy offices learning what they do. It was simply amazing; the views were incredible, the staff the friendliest, we learnt so much from them. The food was excellent. It's time to seriously promote local tourism! Our country is so beautiful!!

I loved Kifaru House and the whole staff who worked there. Having been to Kenya many many times before I have stayed at all the 'top spots"....but we were blessed to have this home all to ourselves for three nights and it truly felt like "our home away from home". The staff headed by David was so thoughtful and kind and met our every need before we even knew what we needed. I would wake up every morning in my charming cottage and look out to the whole wide world beyond my windows. Usually I am up and out ; but I just wanted to linger in this perfect place drinking green tea and eating little chocolate biscuits. Having already been up very early every morning in the Mara I was happy to just wander over and have a leisurely breakfast with a multitude of Kenyan birds as my table mates. Breakfast was outside under the trees; but dinner was in the most magnificent great room with matching fireplaces and lunch one day was served by the gorgeous pool. It sounds like all we did was eat; but with our fantastic Maasai guide Johnson we also saw a lot of cool stuff too. Johnson was a perfect guide for us . Having been to Kenya so often one would think it would be hard to show us something new; but everyday with Johnson was fresh and exciting. We loved that he would stop and offer the local women rides with us to town and that he actually went swimming with my husband in the fresh water pool in the forest that we hiked too ( and as he said , "Maasai can't swim). As for animal life....we saw "everything".....and at one point we had a baby elephant on one side of our jeep and a baby rhino on the other . The whole staff surprised us on our last day with a special lunch set up on the "treehouse platform" at the beginning of the canopy walk. It was truly magical especially when a big bull elephant came out of the trees to join us for a drink. Asante sana to all who made our stay at Kifaru so special especially David, Johnson, and Chichewa ( big head)......we will be back......Lindy and Tombo ( big belly)
