This was the first B&B that I've stayed in my life, didn't know what to expect, but for sure Rebecca put the level at a very high standard. This B&B was the most home like that I've stayed. There was pictures of the family all around the common areas and the decoration was as if they lived in the same... More

The Old Post House is beautiful, comfortable, authentic. Everything about our stay was perfect. We stayed for a night with a group of friends and therefore booked the 3 bedrooms available. The host, Rebecka, welcomed us very warmly, and ensured we had everything we needed at all times. The home-cooked breakfast was lovely too. We were attending a wedding at... More

I really just can't say enough about this place. I stayed here with my parents 3 nights as we were going to the MotoGP in Silverstone. The property itself is stunning. A beautiful, old house with original features and antique furniture. We stayed in the double room and I had a pull out bed. The room was huge - plenty... More

What's not to like? Lovely room in a beautiful house, welcoming hostess, superb breakfast, naresh flowers, home made shortbread in the room, huge towels.... All was lovely. OK so the room faces a fairly busy road but it was fine really and everything else made up for it. Nothing was too much trouble and we recommend the Fritata for breakfast!

Well, what a truly wonderful place! My partner and I stayed for two nights and we stayed in the room at the back which was huge. It's a beautiful place containing a lot of quality, plus the little touches - fresh flowers from the lovely gardens, fresh milk for tea/coffee in the room, home made shortbread (delicious) and Molton Brown... I cannot express just how wonderful it has been staying at The Old Post House. We celebrated our wedding at the nearby Unicorn Inn and have stayed for two nights at the Old Post Office, the host Christine is a delightful lady and breakfast was served with homemade jams, made from the fruit, grown in her garden. The full English... More

This hotel has no contingency plan! My husband and I booked a room for two nights at The Old Post House at least 3 months ahead of our stay. We were attending a wedding in the local area and this seemed like the perfect place to stay. However, on the day we were due to arrive we emailed the B&B... More

Staying in this English country house style B&B is an absolute delight. A warm welcome, relaxed into the cosy interior of this beautiful historic building. Has to be the best bed we've slept in at a B&B and the room was superb with a view over one of the delightful garden areas - a courtyard garden. If you are tall... More

Stylish, friendly, nicely old-fashioned but still very contemporary. We had a beautiful four poster bed in a perfect room. Our dog, Archie, a Giant Schnauzer, was greeted with great pleasure - and not just by Harry, the resident terrier, but by Christine too. Worth going out of your way to stay here and to enjoy Deddington as well...

Far more than a B&B, The Old Post House is a luxury Cotswold home away from home. Christine and Harry (the very friendly terrier) offer a warm welcome - the breakfast is amazing; from homemade granola to fresh fruit salad, followed by a cooked to order breakfast, copious amounts of tea, coffee and toast... etc. You won't go hungry!
