We stayed at Owl cottage on 05/11/2016 to 12/11/2016 with our 5 dogs to escape the fireworks. The cottage is well presented, clean, lots of space for us all but what I loved the most it was so cosy. Well equipped kitchen, large dining area. the gardens are enclosed so great for the dogs also the lovely woods to walk...

what an amazing place, there is nothing not to like .Alison the owner is so helpful and tolerant of dogs. Every cottage had more than 4 dogs in them but the cottages are spotless. We were on holiday here for 2 weeks,I was taken ill and had to go to hospital,Alison even offered to pick my husband up from the hospital....

We have just spent a week at Woodland Cottages and have enjoyed every moment. Our two Border Terriers and my daughter and her fiancé, our tiny granddaughter and their two huskies were all cozy in Swallow Cottage. Beautiful surroundings, everything we could need and perfectly situated for the family to enjoy. Our doggy family had such fun and we were...

We just love this place. Characterful, rustic Swallow Cottage was perfect for us. My four dogs had plenty of space and stone floors meant it was easy to keep clean. The fenced in patio with benches was great for settling the dogs in and has awesome countryside views. Then the patio opens onto a huge grass area that then leads...

What a great place.... views terrific, accommodation (We had Badger they had the bigger one) was first class and very well cared for, and the location was brilliant. Close enough for the shops and...

What a lovely place especially if you have dogs. There are 3 cottages, we stayed in Owl cottage, the smallest but by no means the least. There are wonderful views from each cottage and lots of room for dogs to run and play outside the cottages in enclosed grounds. There are beaches a short drive away. Dogs and humans just...

My husband and I spent a week here with our 3 dalmatians. We stayed in Badger cottage which has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a spiral staircase and balcony over looking the living areas leading to a double room with en-suite. There are a further 2 bedrooms downstairs (1 single and 1 twin) and a family...

This is our 2nd time around to this cottage and we enjoyed ourselves once again. The owners have done some refurbishments to the bathroom and kitchen which were nice but to be honest we felt not necessary as the place was lovely enough anyway. Each to their own I guess. Found the electric and gas a little more expensive this...

I visited woodland cottages for a week with my husband and 3 large dogs. A lovely quiet setting with a well equipped cottage fitted out to the highest standards. Plenty of space for the dogs to walk and play safely and we were able to explore much of North Devon from where we were situated. If you want to share...
