Stayed at the Swissotel Nankai Osaka on two separate occasions earlier this month and both times the experience was absolutely flawless. In terms of convenience for those arriving from Kansai Airport, it does not get any better with the hotel entrance mere steps away from the ticket gates of Nankai Namba station. In fact on our last stay our hotel porter brought our bags all the way to the door of Nankai Rapit train. Both of our rooms had amazing views of the downtown Osaka and had everything you could think of and more. Loved the welcome Swiss cakes and chocolate which were a really nice touch. The staff were all superb and displayed a high level of professionalism. Special shout out to Guest Experience Manager Shirly who greeted us on both of our stays and made sure we felt welcomed and valued. For a five star hotel, this was really excellent value and I would not hesitate to stay at the Swissotel Nankai Osaka when I am in Japan again.…
A very conveniently located hotel accessible from train, subway, and with a direct connection to Kansai airport. Very helpful and attentive staff. A little hard to find if you are not used to Japanese underground transportation systems, but the search is worth the discovery!
We love everything about the Swiss Hotel. The extensive breakfast buffet on the 36 th floor with amazing views. The gym / indoor swimming pool / spa. The executive lounge with all you need— more than adequate for dinner. And of course the rooms. We’ll decorated, spacious, comfortable But the best part is the staff. They go out of their way to make the visit even better.
Hotel location is very convenient from Kansai airport and the room has very wonderful view to see Osaka city and there are mayn shops and restuarants near the hotel. The restaurant for breakfast is located in 36th floor and you can see all of Osaka city too.
Love the location. Love the rooms. Breakfast was fantastic! Stayed here for 3 nights and was able to enjoy the awesome experience due to the attentiveness and hospitality by the Swissôtel team! Would like to give special mention to the guest experience manager Ms. Shirley Santiago who has gone above and beyond for us to experience impeccable what excellent customer service is all about. She had so many surprises lined up from the moment we entered the room till our departure. Those small touches of Customer delight were unforgettable. Highly recommending this property for you to experience your experience my narrative. Thank you Swissotel team! You made our stay in Osaka simply perfect 🙌 Cheers!
Good service at front desk, especially Ms. LeLe, and Ms Dewi during my check in; friendly, professional, helpful and efficient. The hotel location is perfect centrally located on top of Namba Station, it is easy to contect to all the public transportation, and great shopping area too. The gym also big and clean, not many hotel in Japan has such a good size of gym facility. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel.
From reservations until after checkout, the staff of Swissotel specially Shirly Santiago and Mr. Kazu Tanaka have gone above and beyond expectations. Even as of this writing, after checking out and I am already in Tokyo, Shirly is still helping me out with my travel arrangements. Rooms are immaculate, with amazing views of the city. Location is perfect when in Osaka. Will definitely return in the very near future.
First time visiting Osaka and first time staying at a Swissotel property. Greatly appreciated that the front desk staff spoke English, made check-in so easy for us since we can barely speak beginner Japanese. Location was excellent, this hotel is essentially part of Namba station. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. My only concerns were the slightly mildewy-stale smell of the room and how expensive the breakfast was. The view from the breakfast location was incredible but probably not worth the price.
Very bad experience in that hotel where we are stucked due to the pandemic situation. We have been waked up by drill noises for two days because of construction Work inside the hotel building. They should not accept any guests if they are not able to offer a quiet place to rest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the executive rooms. From everything you could want at breakfast on the 36th floor, to receptive / attentive staff (reserving us a table as a family of 4 on the last day in the executive lounge) to an adequate gym / stretch space / sunny pool / nice spa / sauna / cold bath..... We loved everything about the stay and will definitely be back.
