Royal Park Hotel Yokohama has been always my number one choice. The room is spacious, great view, good amenities, clean and pretty. Airport shuttle stops at the hotel before going to YCAT. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant on the top floor has American, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese foods. The hotel has foreign currency exchange machine. A little far from main tourist area such as China town, Kansai station and Yamashita park. Other hotels in the area are either a lot more expensive for upper grade or less expensive for fewer star hotels with very small room.

The hotel is located in the Yokohama Landmark Tower, and if the bayside room, you get a breathtaking view of the Minatomirai area. About the bar, good place for relax and enjoy a drink in a comfortable space. The staff's hospitality was excellent. This hotel is located in middle of the city Sakuragicho, Yokohama. It is easy to access to the Minatomirai area from the hotel, and it was a good point. You can stroll around, enjoy food and go sightseeing.

This is an excellent place to stay if in Yokohama, albeit it's not the cheapest. On the top floors of the iconic Landmark Tower, you get a fantastic view of either the city (and possibly Mt Fuji), or the harbour and Tokyo Bay beyond. You check in on the ground floor, before taking the lift up to your floor (Floor 61, in our case). It's quick and efficient, even though the hotel is large. Not very yielding when it comes to an early check in - we were turned away an hour before the published check-in time, although they do look after your bags if this is the case. Our room was large and well appointed. We had a corner twin room, paying a little more for a bay view. It was an amazing view, taking in the huge expanse that is Yokohama, and we could watch the sunrise over the bay, and be mesmerised by the twinkling night lights of the city. It was a comfortable place to stay, and the room was larger than many hotels I've stayed in in the area. Good bathroom with decent toiletries, and their laundry was quick, too. If you need anything (such as an iron/ironing board), a quick call and someone is at your room within minutes. We didn't eat in the hotel, although what we saw looked good when passing through. However, there are so many choices when it comes to eating in Yokohama. The famous China Town is only a stop on the tube, and there are many choices within walking distance. The underground station - Minato Mirai - is maybe ten minutes walk, but can be got to without having to go outside (important if in the heat and humidity of summer). The building is attached to a large shopping centre - good for drinks/snacks in the shops there. The nearest JR station is Sakuragicho, again less than ten minutes, but it requires a walk outside (although there is an under-cover travelator, so it's easy enough). Would we stay here again? Without a doubt. Yokohama is a great place to visit, and this hotel is smack bang in the middle of an exciting part of town. All other areas are easy to get due to public transport links, and the hotel itself is comfortable, friendly and efficient.

There is not surprised they have zero free upgrade. however, their checkout time is 10:00 and they requested 3000 yen if u want to delay your checkout for each hour. I never expected this rule. The room is the bayside view, however they gave me a half city half bay side, which maybe facing south. i requested a room change and finally i have a good room with a 3000 yen room upgrade fee. The room there is good however we can see some damages in the bathroom. The only thing of their advantage is they are in the landmark building, and that's it.

This is just amazing. Huge rooms. Fantastic view. You can basically just sit down and enjoy the view the entire evening. The staff is friendly and helps in every single way. I would for sure love to come back. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

This modern, excellent hotel was perfect for our last two nights in Japan. It’s situated in the Landmark Tower, one of the tallest (if not the tallest) buildings in Yokohama. Our room was on the 63rd floor! The room was superb and the view incredible. The lower floors of the building contain a huge shopping/restaurant mall. The buffet style breakfast was very good with a wide selection of both Japanese and western food, served in the Sky Lounge. This was on the top floor of the building and, had it not been surrounded by low cloud when we were there, the view would have been amazing. The hotel had a choice of restaurants for dinner, which were probably all very good, but we ate elsewhere locally. After five weeks of mostly Japanese food, we were desperate for something with fries!

Near all major attractions. Walking distance to Cosmo Clock 21. Plenty of shopping stores and restaurants around. room is bigger than most of hotel rooms in tokyo and provides wonderful view of the yokohama port. The only downside is no one helps to hand luggage after we arrived on a taxi. Hotel staff opened the taxi door with good manners but did not help on luggage.

My daughter decided to take me from Hawaii to the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel in Japan for a pre-summer break. I'm sure glad she did. After a long flight from Hawaii, getting through immigration and customs, then navigating to the hotel, we were tired and it was late. We were immediately greeted by the hotel staff who assisted us with our luggage and guided us to the front desk for check-in. The front desk person was very efficient and courteous, accurate with our 2 rooms reservation, very helpful with our expected delivery package, and explained details for the hotel. Our luggage was brought to our rooms immediately. The rooms were immaculate and well prepared as should be expected. It was evening and the city night views from 59th floor rooms were stunning! My daughter and I headed downstairs for dinner which is, besides the view, one of the best features of the hotel with so many eating establishments from McDonald's and the like on the lower floors to higher end cuisine on the upper floors. We settled for some simple Italian food and Japanese food. We returned to our rooms for a well deserved restful evening to prepare for the next day adventures. Overall, the service from the hotel staff was excellent, courteous, helpful, and thorough from check-in, luggage handling, hotel logistics, directions, and check-out. Room attendants Yoshida and Tokura took excellent care of my room. I had a comfort twin room and my daughter had a comfort double room. My daughter and I dined at Japanese Restaurant Shikitei on the 68th floor the next evening in the hotel and I'll be doing a review separately for that restaurant. The Yokohama Royal Park Hotel is a very fine hotel that I would recommend for it's excellent staff, accommodations, location, and view.

Wonderfull hotel, professional staff and a marvellous location near one bay. One of the tallest building at Japan. The quality/Price is really good. From my room we could see the Fuji Mount and it’s simply amazing wake up with that kind of view.

On the one hand, the service quality is excellent as the standard in Japan, and the location is good as well for a business trip, at least you don’t have to pay too much money for a taxi. On the other, the size of room is a little bit small, but if considering the price, anything is fine and good for value
