Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

Review collected in partnership with Accorhotels.com
I actually really rated this hotel! I stayed in two hotels in Shinjuku and while the other one was snazzier this one was actually my preferred. It’s good for a budget whilst still being spacious, in fact I would I say very spacious for a Tokyo budget hotel. The location is fabulous, 5 mins from the station and a short walk across the road to the eateries at Omoide Yokocho, also right on top of a Pokemon stop. And very affordable coin laundry. The bathroom was absolutely tiny but still had everything I needed and for one person it was grand. I would definitely look to stay again.

Had a great 7day stay, Ibis was extremely clean, comfortable and decent size rooms for Tokyo. Excellent value for money and it’s location, free wifi, and more with the rooms mobile phone. Great bathroom amenities and staff were always friendly and helpful. It’s location is ideal to the station, just remember exit via the West exit at Shinjuku station. I would recommend and certainly will stay here again.

Very close to where the airport limousine bus drop : Shinjuku West station . Close to Shinjuku and train stations. It’s a typical ibis hotel : compact , clean, comfortable Plus point being an Accor silver member : check out is at 2pm ( I reckon it’s subject to availability ) as my flight out that day is at 5.20pm , the check out time allowed me to do last minute shopping without lugging the luggage around and able to freshen up before going to the airport. To me that’s a plus point . The hotel is very near convenience stores, 24 hour pharmacy ( which sells more than just medication ) and eateries. It’s not my first time here , I have stayed a few times and it has never yet failed me.
