Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

Stayed here 5 nights
let’s start with the positive. Nice bed, clean, amazing view, not too far a walk to Shinjuku but they also offer a free bus shuttle to and from, the staff are very nice and speak English.

Things that annoyed me. There is a mini fridge and they rip you off if you drink anything in it. Walk to the 711 around the corner and buy the same stuff for normal prices. That 5 yen can of coffee is 1 yen in the 711!! Also we were so jet lagged and exhausted that we said screw it and ordered room service 3 times. Dinner fish and chips ,pizza, hamburger and fries, pasta with a side salad and for breakfast two omlettes and they were nothing fancy. 200 bucks!!

The hotel I’m in now is 100 yen a night you get a mini fridge free toiletries clean room nice English speaking staff and free breakfast. Way better than Hilton!! And no snotty stuck up dicks walking around looking down at you.

This is a terrific hotel located very close to the main train station in Tokyo. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes. The hotel has several restaurants to choose from....don't miss the breakfast buffet. You won't have to eat again until supper time.
Thank shuto3

They provide basic services with some small add ons but not well planned to facilitate ease for travellers. It is quite far from the train station. Bus transfer provided but ends early like 9.45pm.Breakfast spread is the same each day for 8 days! usually crowded.

Visited between 18th - 22nd October. Arrived at Narita and caught the limousine bus directly to the hotel, 3100 yen, It does stop at several other hotels prion to the Hilton. Overall hassle free there and back using the bus. You can book a return ticket back at the hotel.
I booked an executive room on the 28th floor, with lounge access, nice view of Shinjuku and the Executive lounge was excellent, nice snacks every night and the staff helpful.
Check in wasn't to friendly, but efficient and the room was very nicely appointed, space age toilet with all types of gadgetry, the shower was very good and relaxing, wall hand type shower.. I didn't think much of the "plastic type" bath.
The service from staff was wonderful, the young lady at the Concierge desk was a pleasure to deal, helpful and informative. The executive lounge staff were also very helpful, on my final morning one of the female staff was kind enough to let me know that Mt Fuji could be seen, a beautiful view!
There is metro access at the hotel or you can catch the shuttle bus that runs on a regular basis to Shinjuku station, but be warned sometimes it gets full.
Room service meals were top notch, I was one happy camper and recommend the hotel to anyone.

On the surface this is a lovely hotel, however the customer experience is less so.

The Club Lounge is small and crowded and they try and charge you 6k for each person you meet, as I was here for meetings 6k for a cup of coffee when no one else was there was ridiculous especially as I was here alone so they were making a saving on me not having anyone with me full time using the lounge benefits.

The room costs the same whether there are 2 of you or 1 of you but that is then not reflected in the club lounge charges and it should be. People who are by themselves should be able to have free club benefits for others because the costs would still be less than having a second person in the room and them having breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks, beer/wine and dinner every day v's a cup of coffee!

I had to negotiate with them that their excuse that it gets busy was not based on reality as the lounge was empty after breakfast and before dinner when my meetings happened.

The lounge is being refurbished apparently. It needs it.

Not especially customer focused though as I am sure the extra charges will still apply.

The gym is very limited. There is no cycling of any kind only running and cross trainers. The weights section is very small, only 2 people at a time can use the limited number of weights and there is no additional equipment.

The rooms are small and bathroom is not well designed.

I know it's Japanese culture but cutting all the windows in half is bizarre when most of your audience are not Japanese. It makes everywhere much darker and means less people can see the views.

Some of the staff in the lounge were very nice and very helpful, others more jobsworthy.

The cleaning was also bizarre, the room gives a teapot with strainer but no leaves so I put a teabag in and the cleaners didn't empty...maybe they thought I liked cold stewed tea!

One of the great things about the Hilton was the range of bars and restaurants which is extensive and to suit all tastes. The Japanese one is especially fantastic.
