Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The InterContinental - ANA Tokyo enjoys accolades for its prime position, surrounded by must-see districts like Roppongi and Ginza and excellent transit links. While the service typically impresses with its professionalism, a few guests have encountered less-than-stellar interactions. Accommodations are recognized for their generous size and cleanliness, although opinions are split regarding their style and modernity, with some guests suggesting a refresh is due. The hotel's majestic lobby and variety of dining options stand out, yet the value proposition has come under scrutiny from guests expecting more contemporary amenities and features.

This hotel is perfect. Very well located, spacious rooms, superb food and dining generally and, importantly for non-Japanese speaking travellers, known by taxi drivers for ease of retuning from the fabulous Tokyo neighbourhoods. Highly recommend to visitors who enjoy everything being right.

As first timers to wonderful Tokyo we could have not asked for a better hotel in regards to location, room size, club lounge and above all wonderful staff. My husband and I travel often and finding accommodation that has a Club Lounge is one of our main criteria. The Club Lounge here is incredible and the food choices at breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hour are superb. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The lounge is kept spotless and the offerings are plentiful. There is table and lounge seating. Big thanks must be given to the wonderful Lounge Manager Yuka Matsumura, Assistant Manager Ahmed Ali and all of the team were fantastic and are to be commended. They were always very friendly and helpful and their being able to assist us in English was greatly appreciated. Our Club room was well sized and had a fabulous view of Tokyo Tower. It was quiet yet in an ultra convenient location. We within a minutes walk of two train lines and could easily walk to Ginza. The suburb is vibrant and safe with lots of choices. There is also a choice of convenience stores nearby. We have friends travelling to Tokyo next month and they have already take up our recommendation to stay at the Ana Intercontinental Tokyo as they know if we were impressed they would be too. Also big thanks to the check in staff who made our room available earlier than the check in time due to our IHG membership. We would definitely stay here again.

Another absolutely perfect stay at the Ana Intercontinental Hotel. It’s so comfortable, perfectly located and the staff are delightful. I make a particular point of mentioning Ann, the Club Lounge Manager. She runs an impeccable service, through an amazing team who are always so professional and it’s genuinely a pleasure to be looked after by Ann and everyone in her team. I’m looking forward to my next visit, the Ana Intercontinental is simply fabulous!

The amazing - Japan. Tokyo. Sakura - the cherry blossoms take it all to another level. Simply breathtaking. The great - the newly renovated Mizu suites, more than big enough for two adults and our kids 8 and 6. The Club Floor service and evening cocktails are a welcome refuge after a day on the busy streets. Suggest the buffet on Level 2 for breakfast rather than the lounge. By far the best we had of 5 hotels across Japan. The OK - outside L35 and the upper rooms the rest of the facilities are a little tired but are in the process of renovation. If you’re in a newly renovated room and have access to Level 35 you are in the sweet spot. If not there are newer options for the price point. The walk to Ginza station isn’t great but not too far. Dining options nearby are fair, not brilliant. Walk to Roppongi rather than to the nearer Ark Hills centre for better options. We booked late in the piece so our prices were likely higher than we would have paid booking earlier - over 100,000 yen per night - which means the value was fair not outstanding. The staff are really friendly and we couldn’t have asked for more from them, the room, the food and the Club Floor during our two stays over 9 days. We’d come back for sure but I’d plan better next time! Thanks to all the team for the care they showed us on our stay.

I was at the Club lounge for cocktail and Monina helped me to explain all menus and she was really kind and nice! I was tired by traveling around Tokyo today while it was raining, however, the menu she recommended made me happy and relieved. Thanks Monina!

Conclusion: It was my second time at ANA Intercontinental Tokyo. It is a huge hotel with a perfect location - the metro is just outside the hotel. Some rooms have been updated with new furnitures, which is really nice. The club lounge is really good, but it was packed and the service was a slow. I will choose ANA Intercontinental Tokyo next time I visit Tokyo. Review: I took the train from Haneda Airport. It require that you change train twice, but it is very easy. The train took 45 min. Taxis is expensive and with the traffic in Tokyo you never know, how long time it will take. The hotel also offer a very expensive shuttle service. The hotel is located in a neighborhood with many bars and restaurants. The metro stations is just outside the hotel with access to 4 different metro lines. Tokyo tower is in walking distance. I checked in the club lounge, where the staff was really kind and the check in was fast. I also did the check out in the club lounge, which took less than 1 min. I got a room, who was updated with new furnitures. The room was nice and bigger than usual hotels in Tokyo, and it had a nice view. The wifi was fast. I had access to the club lounges, which I used for breakfast and before dinner drinks. The food selection was really good and the food was tasty. During the cocktail hours the lounge serves wine, beers, sake and different long drinks. The club lounges was really busy, so the service was really slow, but it was still worth the money.

Stayed for 5 nights for sightseeing Tokyo and surroundings. PRO: - ever so friendly staff - club lounge with convenient happy hour times and good food/beverage spectrum - very clean room - very silent a/c - good concierge CON: - on a very minor room upgrade from superior to premium room (+5sqm). Formally ok, but being a long tim e Ambassador a bit weak, upgrade policy was better in other IC - minor glitches in Club lounge service (forgot to bring last orders drinks) Conclusion: would come again, but maybe the IC Strings is a bit better (and more pricy!)

The service we received from Monina was nothing short of exceptional. She took all the time we needed to answer all of our crazy questions. Despite all the warnings about construction and remodeling, we didn't see any exidence of it, and it never affected our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind. The hotel is in a great location near the Ginza line, which will get you easily to just about anywhere.
