I was in Japan on business and had to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival to meet government requirements. This meant I had to stay inside my hotel room for the entirety of the two weeks. Check in was fine. The staff was friendly. The room was very dated. It was something I would expect from a more run down holiday inn express, not a Intercontinental branded hotel. The chairs were so old one of them collapsed while I was sitting in it watching TV ( I weigh 165 lbs). When I made my reservation there was no option to select a modern room so I guess it's luck of the draw. I had to order out for my meals since I was required to stay in my room. I ordered three or four times from the hotel menu and was very disappointed in both the quality and quantity of the meals. I used Uber eats for the rest of my meals but the hotel charged a 500 yen "convenience fee" every time I had food delivered. This bothered me as it came across as a straight money grab taking advantage of my situation. I've been a platinum member with IHG for like 8 years but received no acknowledgement or benefits for being such. I was in Tokyo for three months for work. I had planned staying at the ANA for the entirety of my trip however after this experience I elected to move to the Hilton on Odaiba where I had a much better experience.

This hotel is in a great location. It is in the Akasaka area, near Shibuya and some good walking areas. Access to train and subway is right outside the front door. Lovely restaurant choices in the area. The breakfast buffet is as good as any offered in the large hotels in Japan, with an amazing selection and great quality, both Oriental and Occidental. Rooms are of comfortable size and decently furnished. Some rooms offer a tremendous view of the Tokyo Tower.

Maybe the best club I have ever visited. You can order from a menu even in the longue. Comfortable beds and rooms are alright sized. It is very difficult to find big rooms in Tokyo, so for that, this is a good size. Gym and pools are very good. Short walk from the subway station. Absolutely recommended.

There’s literally nothing you could complain about with this hotel. Top class hotel. Definitely up to the intercontinental standards. Superb location for business and pleasure. Breakfast is at the intercontinental level, and there is nothing wrong with it. The food is fresh and plentiful, which is good. What’s not to like about it

the location is very good, near the subway station. Staff were all extremely accommodating, amicable and make it simple for the check in and check out process. Meals were good - generally great. We like the manners in which staff are so responsive and learned in their service to us.
