Shinbashi Shiodome, Odaiba
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

Room is a bit small but that's normal in the Tokyo area. No regular bread/toast at the breakfast buffet, only chocolate rolls and croissants. During breakfast hours the restaurant area can be somewhat crowded as it is rather small compared to the nr of rooms. But the pro's are the ones that count. Location is great for exploring Tokyo for a few days. Right in the middle. Just a few hundred meters from Shinbashi station. Not a located on a busy and noisy street. Good bed and great pillows. Shower and towels also great. Airco adjustable to your liking. 1 free small bottle of water per person per day. And no noise from the street or outside! What else can I say. Highly recommended.

Excellent service , awesome breakfast, fantastic spa . Close to everything. 300 metres from station. Tokyo station 1 station away on jr line 140 yen. We purchased a 3 day metro pass which was a 5 minute walk to the station. Try the Mexican across the road or the bottle shop 5 doors up both excellent. Could not recommend this place enough

Candeo Shimbashi is a wonderful new addition to Tokyo hotels situated near Shinbashi JR station and has good size rooms and Sky Spa Onsen for all guests to use for free. The staff are very friendly and professional and the breakfast has a good variety of western and Japanese selections . Highly recommended and I’ve stayed at this Candeo 4 times already since it’s opening .

Check-in - had some issues checking in for our group because I had booked it under the one name. It took over 30 mins and after a long flight we were all very tired. The staff had limited English ability but I can speak Japanese so it was fine in the end. The location is fabulous, close to so many eateries and bars. A short walk from Shimbashi Station and a short 10 min taxi ride to Tokyo Station. The rooms are new and while small, like all rooms in Tokyo, well-designed. I liked the daybed. The public bath is very small and they didn’t have enough stools for washing. So I had to stand naked awkwardly for a while. I enjoyed it all the same though, it’s hard to find in Tokyo!

Location is perfect, easy access to Airport, and all well worth to visit area's. The building is new, but for that we need to end the positive feedback. Arriving after a long travel we ended up in a discussion that our daughter of 8 needed to be charged for breakfast. (We were convinced all was paid for) They held us at the reception for 1 hour and Agoda needed to solve the issue, in our favor by the way. Think the staff could do that too as we are sure a kid of 8 will not bankrupt them after poor communication. They claimed they informed us, and insisted to see my mail. Then the next issue... Last day we have had a very early leave to catch the plain. They cannot provide a breakfast box. But we could get breakfast at 6.15. So picking up some sandwiches in a hurry, we needed to have a discussion with the kitchen staff, it is not allowed to take away the sandwiches. Happy we left...
