Neighborhood
Ginza, Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

Located a 15 min walk from Tokyo Station we really enjoyed our stay here. Ginza itself is full of places to eat & there are plenty of transport options too. We were 3 adults in a room & found it comfortable in size. The room was very clean & maintained that way throughout our stay. We had plenty of towels & amenities in the bathroom for all of us all of a good standard product. The staff are beautiful, exceptionally friendly & helpful. We needed to borrow umbrellas during our stay & the reception girl was so upset one of them was a bit broken. We didn't mind at all but her reaction was very sweet. This was our first time in Japan & it was all very daunting, with Mercure Ginza as our base we felt very safe & well taken care of.

It is typical city hotel in Tokyo. Small rooms but the location in the middle of Ginza ward. The hotel is surrounded by 3 convenient stores and the great thing is the hotel basement is connected to Ginza-Itchome metro station. The staff is so friendly and speak fluent english. They even help me to get an emergency courier to send my luggage from this hotel to a hotel in Hakone just a couple hours! Thanks for the help.

Amazing little hotel... for which the room is bigger than usual 3 Star Hotel in Tokyo... the lack of pool or gym probably that bumps this hotel from 4 to 3 Stars Hotel. But the service from check in to check out to helping get a taxi during rush hour... superb!!!! The Subway on the basement of hotel don’t really get you familiar places... not sure where the route goes!! But the Ginza Sanchome Station is like 400m away. There’s Natural Lawson (healthier convenient store) and McD like 3 minutes walk away. Overall pleasant stay at a superb hotel. Recommended!!!

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, right on a metro and close to good shops. Breakfast was a good selection albeit in a small dining room. Fast internet, if that’s important to you. Very good price for the heart of Tokyo. Overall, a pleasant hotel to stay.

The hotel is in excellent location, close to Tokyo station, to the touristic areas (Emperors garden) as well as to vibrant streets with lots of restaurants and shops. In addition to the the hotel staff was extremely helpful, when asking for a writings desk they have provided me one in the room. It was very positive, next time in Tokyo I will go back there for sure!
