The big advantage of this hotel is that is in a very good location with access to bus and multiple tube lines making it easy to move around ( make sure you put full name of hotel in satnav/google map as there are other hotels in this chain and you might be misdirected ). It was a very convenient base from which to explore Tokyo with excellent shopping nearby should you be so inclined. The Fish Tsukiji Market and Hamarikyu Gardens are within easy walking distance. The views from the rooms are spectacular as the lobby is on the 16th floor and all bedrooms are on floors above that. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection though a bit samey after a couple of days. The rooms are well equipped with , typically as we found out during our time in Japan, everything being provided from razors to nightshirts. Even a trouser press. Specify non smoking when booking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. WiFi works well. Beds were comfortable . On the down side the room was very hot. It was a twin and small for two people and it was difficult to accommodate two suitcases. If anything the room was over provided with furnishings, such as a coffee table, which could have freed up floor space. The only TV is in Japanese. TV is not important but, in the current climate, I personally think access to news is. The hotel operates a voluntary eco policy for guests staying 2 nights or more whereby only minimal cleaning is done and towels changed. Bed making becomes the guests’ responsibility . Bedding is not replaced and essentials are not replaced. you just go to reception to get more. We tried both ways - the non eco and the eco. The eco day meant only the towels were replaced which did not strike me as very eco. But otherwise pretty well everything else was left untouched. On our non eco day literally everything was replaced . I applaud all green initiatives however. As a final comment- please please put some hooks in the bathroom on which towels can be hung. we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again.

The hotel was close to Ginza and Tsujiki Markets. It was also very modern and great value for a family. We experienced the earthquake on New Year and have to say the hotel took good care of the guests with English announcement that assured us given we were on the 23rd floor. Great view of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Train Station. They even had a special Japanese performance at the lobby on New Year morning. Great way to kick start the new year. Rooms were well equipped and very clean. We loved staying here!

Thank you very much for staying at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. We would also like to thank you for your feedback after your stay. First of all, I am relieved that your stay in Japan did not turn out to be a bad experience due to the earthquake. I'm glad you didn't seem to be hurt. From the lobby on the 16th floor, you can see Tokyo Tower right in front of you, which is very popular with our customers. Tokyo Tower is especially special when it is lit up at night. All of our staff will do their best to cherish every encounter with our customers. We look forward to seeing you again. Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier Front Office Manager

Finally we return to Tokyo But on this occasion we opted for a new location to reside Just off the main street of Ginza The hotel is well situated within 10 min walking distance to Train Station and Major Shopping Malls. Check-In was smooth Rooms are as expected small but well equipped including charging ports, extension cords & adaptors. The service is what stood out, especially when one of our parties left her wallet in a Taxi. The hotel went above and beyond to not only liaise with us but also the taxi company to recover the missing wallet within hours of losing it.

This hotel is just ok - other than amazing views from near reception. It's clean enough, staff are pleasant enough, rooms are as shown in the pictures etc. Breakfast was poor - same food each morning, always waiting on something (cups, milk, coffee, cutlery etc) to be refilled, hot food not particularly hot, etc. Room was quite small but the space was cleverly used. Stayed in 5 hotels in Japan in 2 weeks. This is the only one we wouldn't go back to.

The staff are fantastic but the second we stepped into the elevator we knew thats where it would end. The elevator smells of smoke. The room smelled of smoke, sweat and dust. There was a sunflower seed that didn’t get vacuumed up from prior guest. The room was full of dust we had to run the air filter 24/7 to try to get the smell to improve. First day my eyes were swollen due to all the dust and smells in the room. Just walking on the carpet the dust was being thrown up into the air again. We only stayed 2 nights thankfully but strongly considered leaving and paying for a different room. When looking for a different hotel everything was just so expensive because it was last minute we felt like we didn’t have a choice but to stay. The staff were amazing not a reflection on them but room was gross. Japan has been closed for several years you would like they would take that time when it wasn’t so busy to deep clean the rooms. There was also hair in our bed. Didn’t enjoy stay away for the price and star rating I expected more. At least clean air. The mattress was comfortable and bathroom was clean and comfortable also.

The hotel has a great location, however, rooms are extremely small, the internet is very slow, the breakfast was good, and this Mitsui Garden has no Oncen, which is a great bath that is available at the other Mitsui Garden Hotels. Just a short walk from the high grade shops at Ginsa 6 and many great places to eat all over the area.

This was the last part of a 3 centre tour, this hotel was average at best and would be 3rd of the 3 hotels I stayed at. Rooms were very small, Wi-Fi was terrible and elevators were 5 minutes plus sometimes, reception is on the 16th floor and rooms from 17-26 so always waiting on a lift. Breakfast was repetitive and bland, even daily cooked dishes of crepes were exactly the same each day Disappointed with lack of English info, tvs, remote controls, toilet are all in Japanese only so struggled to figure some of it out, for a main hotel in a high tourist area it should have been better The only spectacular part of this hotel stay was the views from the lobby

We were given a smoking room upon check in since it was a busy local (respect the elder) Holiday weekend and non-smoking rooms are unavailable . The room was very smoky even after we used probably the bottle of air-freshener provided. Our sleep was so disrupted. We went to the Front Desk to let them know our previous night experience and was given a non smoking room immediately! The staff went above and beyond to move out luggages to our new room. This hotel was highly recommended by our local friend and wenwould definitely be back again.
