I stayed in one of the FORUS rooms and loved it. The room was "Ryokan inspired", featuring a tatami mat with a Western-style bed, along with Japanese toys and books. While there was no view, a window allowed a bit of natural light in through the blinds. They were very transparent about this when booking, so I wasn't disappointed. This was also the biggest room I'd stayed during my trip to Japan in mid-range business hotels.

Everything in the room worked perfectly. Unlike many Japanese chain hotels, there was a proper walk-in shower, not one over a bathtub. The shower had three separate nozzles: front-facing, rain style, and a hose - which made it perfect. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and noise isolation was perfect.

The amenities were of good quality and included Japanese tea, Nespresso capsules, snacks, and moisturisers/sunscreen.

The location was very convenient with the bars and restaurants of Nihonbashi behind the hotel open until late, and just a 5-minute walk to Tokyo Station.

My husband and I stayed here for the second time (the first was 8 years ago) and this time we stayed 5 nights in a Double Room. The room was clean, comfortable, roomy and very quiet, despite the front desk staff warning us that we might hear construction noise. The bathroom area was very nice, with a strong shower and a toilet seat that rose automatically every time you entered that room. The staff was friendly and polite, both at the desk and in the restaurant where we ate dinner one night.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you're taking trains and subways to explore, as it was a quick walk across the street to Tokyo Station and was also close to subway entrances. With the strong dollar, the room was extremely reasonably priced for what we got. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

1.All the dishes on the breakfast menu are delicious, especially the broth rolled eggs.
The restaurant is too small to take care of the long wait because it is crowded every time.
2.The air conditioning in the double room is weak. Especially in the summer, insert the card key and then the room
takes quite a long time to cool down, and the room temperature does not drop quickly and you sweat after bathing.
  You end up with.
3.The room cleaning is always very clean and very satisfying.
4.With an overseas VISA card that can be used every time without any problems when paying at Ryumeikan (local)
I'm very frustrated that I can't prepay for my web booking. I got a lift from the hotel.
I had to settle with a separate link, but I used it every time at Ryumyokan (local settlement) without any problem.
The card you are using cannot be used for pre-booking on the Ryumeikan website, and membership points are not attached
For it is unreasonable and very unfortunate. Be a credit card that has been used at Ryumeikan
I would like you to improve it so that it can be used without any problems with the web prepayment.
5.The receptionist was attentive and impressed almost every time.

It's located just north of the Yaesu exit, and is in a very convenient location, but it's well soundproofed and quiet. The room size is standard, but a little small for this accommodation fee, and the furnishings are a little inferior compared to the latest facilities. The breakfast is of decent quality, with choices from the buffet table and from items already served in small bowls. The basic set of rice, miso soup, and pickles is well made, and there is a wide selection of high-quality vegetables from the surrounding area, making it an excellent experience for this class.

Excellent location for proximity to Tokyo Station, the hotel is just 200m from Yaesu Central Exit and it's a very easy and straightforward walk with a suitcase. From the exit/outside the station, just cross the street, go left and walk straight until you spot a British bar on the right-hand side and you'll find the hotel next to it.

Stayed in a Standard Single room which was fine for two large suitcases, bathroom was also a doable size compared to other tiny hotel rooms in Tokyo. The style of the room was dated but well-maintained overall and had nice soundproofing. Good cleanliness in general but a bit dusty in spots they don't think to clean, e.g. lampshades. Bed was okay but the pillows provided were extremely squishy and flat.

Staff at front desk and restaurant were very professional. Breakfast buffet was fine with hot options and salad bar but quite bland taste and the spread was pretty much the same every day.

There are coin washing machines on floor 10 and 12, though, there's only one washer and one dryer in each location so it's difficult to find it vacant. The machines were also incredibly dusty and appears as if they haven't been cleaned in a long time.

The hotel is in a terrific location for trains and subways, literally 3 minutes from the Tokyo Station. The hotel was clean and well cared for and the staff helpful and accommodating in keeping our luggage upon check in and for several hours before we needed to leave for the airport. There is a coin operated laundry on two floors which came in handy after two weeks so we didn't come home with only dirty laundry. We didn't use the restaurant but rather foraged for breakfast from the tons of available shops in the station. I booked three rooms - one double twin and two doubles (one bed)...I was advised that the only double rooms available were Japanese style rooms and there was a square meter listed so I knew they were small but didn't realize (or the measurements were somewhat off) how small. They were stylish and cleverly done but the room was tiny....bed was comfortable but one person (me in this case) had to sleep against the wall and getting in and out during the night was a project. The room would have been lovely and cozy for one person but was cramped for a couple. The room had a small tatami area but no other chair to sit on and mat is not that useful for old westerners to sit on the floor so it was the bed that got sat on. The twin double was a lovely room and had plenty of room for our two single friends sharing a room. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at the property but would make sure to book a different class of room.

I have been staying in this hotel for several years now. This is the first time we are back since covid. The hotel hasn't changed much at all, the rooms are still kept up-to-date and all the furnishings are well maintained, it still has very strong free wifi and the front desk was still as efficient and friendly as before. I never tried the hotel's breakfast as I personally love going to Sarabeth's for breakfast across the street. If you select to have breakfast included it is a Japanese-style breakfast. We love the location of Ryumeikan, as we are always transiting between Narita and Nagano for ski trips. We like the convenience of staying right next to Tokyo Station so we can easily transit between NEX and Shinkansen with all of our ski luggage. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need for a pleasant stay (even free bottled water and rice cracker snacks).

This review is actually for April 2023. Staff did seem a little anxious having to speak with foreigners, but were able to communicate adequately in English. We definitely made use of their washers/dryers only wish they had more available they’re so useful! Overall we did have a wonderful stay, it was very quiet, front desk was polite to us, room service kept our rooms clean and I even got some free candy on my birthday. Sorry for the late review and thanks for making our stay so nice. We’ll be seeing you again in November!

Our 3rd stay since several years ago. We stayed here whenever we had a one night layover in Tokyo. This location is the best among few other hotels we stayed at in Tokyo i.e. Hilton, Grand Hyatt, etc. We keep coming back here because it is convenient and surrounded by many food options and restaurants in extremely short walking distances. Tokyo station is right across the street, makes it even better you can take shuttle bus to/from airport and getting on the subway/train is easy. The rooms are always very comfortable and staff are helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was mostly Japanese style and it was amazing, ingredients were in great quality and you could tell chef really put efforts into preparing the food. We made sure to have breakfast in every stay. We will be back next year!

Menu price depends on what u choose. No such thing in the world has free food for kid at any age . Its a question that NO NEED to ask, or it makes u look silly. Right ? Remember it is JAPAN !Nothing is cheap in Japan, bring tonnes of money or u end up dont bear to pay for whatever u fancy .

Hi, coming from Narita is a bit of a long haul and I’d suggest a private car or taxi if you can afford it The hotel is in a high rise and is fairly modern versus an older structure. You enter through a small entry/lobby and go to the 25th floor (if I’m recalling correctly), there is no doorman or luggage help I have no knowledge on their laundry service The hotel is quiet and the larger rooms are nice and comfortable and the hotel is centrally located including being close to the main train station
