Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel location is convenient. You can easy access train station and food. Shintoshin station (5 min), Cocoon city mall (5min) , FamilyMart just next to it. Staff are courteous, helpful, cheerful and attentive. The room condition is clean and spacious. The breakfast is delicious also. Overall experience is wonderful. I will come back. However I left a long sleeve white blouse in the room 206. If hotel management find it and read this message, i wish they could deliver it to Malaysia. My email is alanyeoh@maypak.com. Thanks.

This is an excellent choice for the budget traveler, I stay at this hotel every time I go to Tokyo. It is located just 30 min outside of Tokyo, accessible by train, walking distance to the train station, mall and a traditional Japanese neighborhood and Shrine. Honestly I go there for the breakfast, it's not the typical american breakfast, so don't expect that. It's a traditional Japanese: miso soup, rice balls, salad and green tea. Although there's a fast food chain across the street if that's what are you craving for, but I prefer what the locals do and eat since that's why I travel, for the experience. The room and bathroom are small but I totally don't mind (the perks of being petite). If you stay more that 3-4 days, the staff will ask you to move to another room, so they can clean thoroughly the room you where staying at previously ( I asked why and apparently is a health/sanitation practice). The staff are very helpful and friendly, although most of them do not speak English, but you can get by with an app in your phone, or just write down what you need and they will go the extra mile to help you.

This is an efficient little business hotel, located in the very center of Saitama. It's close to the train and bus stations, restaurants and shops, which makes it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are small, but that's Japan for you. Reasonable prices, with breakfast and wi-fi included. The staff are quite friendly and helpful, as well. Overall, a smart choice for the business traveller.

This is a good hotel option in Saitama if you need a place on a budget. I have stayed at Toyoko Inns in many places and have always found them to be adequate. The value is superb and I like it that they have a frequent stay program in which the nights do not expire. I have accumulated 37 nights now (1 free night for every 10 stayed). This particular location turned out to be up to Toyoko standards. I was surprised that this was the closest location they had to Omiya station, which was close to where my business activities were on this trip. It was about a 1.2 mi (2 km) walk from where I was but it gave me a chance to get some exercise. The hotel was also a 5-minute walk from Saitama Shin-Toshin station which is on the Keihin Tohoku Line. The rooms at Toyoko are Japanese business style (i.e., very small). But my room this time, as always, was clean and functional with free WiFi that worked adequately. The front desk staff were often English-challenged but they were very friendly, polite and service-oriented so we got by. Unlike many locations, one drawback with this hotel was that there were very few breakfast options within walking distance. Denny's and McDonald's were all there were. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast but it is Japanese style and had too many carbs to my liking. There were, however, a few dinner options close by at the Cocoon Mall. Overall, in spite of the location being a little out-of-the-way, I thought this turned out to be a good option for a stay in Saitama.

Recommended only for business stay, if you have to go to Saitama. Really near to the station. Unfortunatelly the staff hardly speaks English. There's only japanese style breakfast (rice balls and miso soup). If your room is on the train tracks side, might be a bit noisy...
