We stayed here for 2 nights, and spent a lot of the time in our room because of jetlag. We found it quite practical and clean, but nothing fancy, and the receptionist did not speak much english. The room has a small tv, a microwave, minifridge and a waterboiler. There is also a small bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Several little conveniencestores close by, and walkingdistance to Kawasaki station.

What is not acceptable? The stench in the room. This hotel doesnt provide telephone in room. Which is essential when you travel from abroad. The access to the hotel is very congested, doesn't have a proper reception. Rooms are very tiny, probably that's how a hotel in Japan. I've stayed in other hotels in Japan in the past, nothing was as poor as this experience.

This is a typical Japanese salaryman hotel. Companies send workers here when they're needed in the area. The rooms are tiny, the beds are tiny, the bathrooms are tiny. At least it has internet (LAN cable only) and a TV (standard channels only). It's a super-spartan hotel for brief visits by visiting employees of large companies. One does not stay here on holiday. If you're on a budget, stay in a hostel. You'll meet more people.

This hotel just opened as Hotel Livemax, but rooms do not look new (don't expect brandnew fridge). During our stay, it still looked that it was fitted out (the tumble dryer just arrived with us at reception). Therefore it may look different in the future. Stay was ok, nothing special. Usually small size of a room in a Japanese hotel of this category, the aircon was old and noisy, but we needed it in the July nights. Be careful with the lift, the door shuts very quickly, not very safe! You need to press the button to keep it open long enough.
