Like most hotels in Japan the room is small and although we asked for a double bed we got twin beds. There was no room for luggage so we had to move a chair into the cupboard so we could put our suitcases under the bench. The room is no smoking but there is a smoking room on the same floor as our room so we got the smoke smell. The bathroom is small but well appointed except there was no face washer or sponge as other hotels provided. Reception is on 7th floor but there are 3 lifts so we were able to access our room promptly. Breakfast is hit and miss. There is an omelette chef but the first day it was so undercooked it was inedible. The second day I managed to get him to cook it longer so it was okay. The warming dishes don’t keep the food hot enough so the bacon, sausages etc are lukewarm. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is right beside a shopping mall and train station which makes it easy to get to all of Osaka’s attractions. I would stay here again if visiting Osaka.

This older style hotel in Osaka faces the river however we had a not so glamorous room with a “city” view but nonetheless a satisfactory short stay room. Our room was very small with no allocated room for your suitcases but manageable, 2 King Single beds with only 1 pillow each, a small chair and bar fridge, and an older style “flat screen” tv. The bathroom was tiny but again adequate for our needs but having long legs sitting slightly side saddle was required LOL, the water pressure and temperature fantastic. The hotel is located above a subway station and a small shopping mall and about 8 little restaurants/bars. We had dinner ina traditional local restaurant on the end near the steps to our hotel (sorry forgot the name) which was absolute great taste size and price with great cold beers. As usual a good sized breakfast available to satisfy all tastes. A previous review stated no cooling A/C in autumn which I can confirm but in March it isn’t necessary anyway - accept that’s the way it is baby! Yes it is an older style hotel but the price of same, the location, the obliging staff, has very small rooms and bathroom but overall quite satisfactory for a short term stay

Hotel view is very good. Very convenient to go to the tourist attractions. Big bus can easily stop at this hotel. The only thing is room size is too small . For the business trip this hotel will be the best choice!

Location of hotel is good but the hotel is not upgraded and old. Toilet is so small and the room is cramp. Staff are friendly but don’t understand English much. Below is train station so that’s the bonus point. Lots of small shops and eatery. A mall also there

After the last bad hotel, we were all happy with this one. Service was good, but the reception is on the 7th floor which is a little confusing. The toilets are simply fantastic in Japan and their hygiene is first class. Beds are rather hard and the pillows are very small, so ask for more as most of our group did. Breakfast was good and plenty of it.
