Opportunity to stay for 3 days at the Osaka St Regis on business. Arrangements for pick-up from the airport and transportation to the hotel was seamless. Arrival was nicely choreographed by the door persons, greeters and front desk staff; I was welcomed warmly and my room was processed efficiently and professionally. The small St Regis-esque lobby is situated on the 12th floor and hosts 2 restaurants and a pleasant garden that would be welcomed on warmer days. Assigned room was very nicely adorned with furnishings and decorations expected of the brand but with some local influences - I like it. Everything worked flawlessly; bed was very comfortable, shower pressure and volume was generous (which I appreciated), wifi signal was reliable and robust, temperature control was responsive and switches to lighting and curtains were intuitive and convenient to user. Only comment/suggestion would be for the hotel to provide more electrical outlets at the desk and next to the bed. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Rue d'Or, La Veduta and Wajo - they were all excellent. Breakfast and dinner offerings at La Veduta were very good; flavors and quality of food were amazing. Lunch at Wajo was an experience that I will remember - because of the education and guidance provided to this novice at feasting on teppanyaki - food were also incredibly tasty. Concierge also made several arrangements for transportation to and from various venues - that worked seamlessly. This is a great hotel - for its professional staff, location in the city and variety of amenities it offered; everything worked as hoped - thank you.

St.Regis is my husband I favorite hotel, and the one in Osaka met our standards. The service is absolutely wonderful, the staff go above and beyond taking care of you and your needs. We booked with Amex platinum benefit and we were able to check in early at 12. After getting into our room our butler Shunta showed up and shows us how to use the items in our room, he saw I was 6 months pregnant and even brought up a pregnancy pillow, decaf coffee and tea for me to drink. We headed down to the bar for some drinks and even dined at the French restaurant. Staff was amazing and accommodated drinks and dishes for me since I was pregnant. The next morning we had a fantastic breakfast, everything was made with perfection, my husband enjoyed the Japanese breakfast and I found plenty to eat. Room was extremely comfortable and the beds were amazing, although furniture has a bit of run down to it, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St.Regis Osaka, they made our baby moon trip a wonderful experience

Had my last minute dinner at Rue d’Or to celebrate my birthday. Staff were very polite, welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to Yuda and Krishna for being so proactive and making sure I enjoyed every dish that they served. I would certainly recommend this to all my friends and colleagues who will visit Osaka.

We just completed a two night stay at the St Regis Osaka and we had a lovely time. The front desk, butlers and restaurant staff were all amazing!! We were upgraded to a king view deluxe room. The hotel honored both my Bonvoy gold status and AMEX platinum benefits which was very much appreciated. What particularly stood at this property was the butler service, room and amenities. The butler service could be reached via text message on the bonvoy app which was super convenient. We needed tickets printed and had morning coffee delivered, both requests were promptly replied to. Upon checking into our room, our butler, Nirmal, came and introduced himself and offered some great tips about sightseeing which was very thoughtful. Our morning breakfasts were enjoyable, food and service were great. Also what stood out were the room amenities, the soaps smelled great and the amenity kit were well appointed with quality items should we have needed anything. Amazing stay! Would definitely return!!

Very luxurious hotel but lacks a bit of warmth. More suitable for business travellers rather than families travelling for pleasure. Nothing wrong with th hotel per se, but just a bit ordinary - not what we expected after our stays at other luxury hotels

Thu, Nov 30, 2023 – Sun, Dec 03, 2023 Family of 5 stayed in two Grand Deluxe, Larger Guest Rooms - Arrival I'd say the bellmen are the weakest link of the whole property. On arrival the supervisor has asked which suitcases belong to which room, but eventually they mixed up which suitcases should go to which room, after taking more than couple of hours for them to bring them up. - Check in Check in was smooth, it took slightly longer than half an hour to be ready, but the staff is friendly and professional. We were brought up by another staff on the front desk, but he didn't know which key card is for the 3-pax room and which one is for the 2-pax room, so he had to go back to front desk to check before lead us up. I feel this is the kind minor detail that separates them from good to great, and is lacking from other St. Regis at times. - Room Although the rooms appeared to have minor wear and tear, but generally the room is still in high quality, bedding, amenities are on par with other St. Regis properties - Butler service Exceptional service, I can feel they do take pride in what they're doing, and executed with grace and personal charm. - F&B It gets very busy during breakfast service, I can tell the staffs are trying to keep up with the patrons and not able to serve with normally high St. Regis standard. In-room Dining has great presentation but taste is not outstanding. We also had lunch in Rue D'or, very meh in both food and service. - Check out We left our suitcases and bags at the bell hop after check out, and went for lunch. After we returned and our car is out front, they couldn't find our suitcases and bags, again! At that point I wasn't even surprised anymore, I just feel there's a great disconnection within the team because there're constantly more than 4 bellmen at the door but they all look clueless and unaware of what others are doing. In conclusion if I return to Osaka I would definitely stay in The St. Regis Osaka again, despite of minor hiccups, it's still a great hotel and the location is perfect. I just hope they will refine their service and coordination between departments so it reaches the standard they strive to be.

I am in my 3rd night in this hotel and I felt compelled to say I couldn't be happier with my selection. I am very low key and want detailed but simple luxury. The St. Regis Osaka delivers that in spades. Staff has been unbelievably kind, the room is well appointed, and the Butler Service delivers as advertised. Things are just so well thought out and the brand has done a great job understanding whatever niche I fit into. Cheers to the people on-site who are in the midst of making my time here a memorable one.

As the taxi approached the St. Regis, I noticed the neighborhood looked like a financial district and perhaps not too interesting for the tourist. Once I settled in and took a walk on the street behind the St. Regis, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a covered shopping area that is perhaps a mile long and ends in the colorful neighborhood on the Dotonbori River. While the shopping area is wonderful, there is more to a hotel than location. The St. Regis delivers it all. From the moment I stepped into the lobby I was well taken care of. The hotel is the top floors of the building. After dropping luggage in the first floor lobby, I was escorted to reception on the upper floors. The room was spacious and had a terrific view. The king-size bed was very comfortable. That and the motorized blackout curtains ensured that I had a great rest. The bathroom is huge, with separate glassed off areas for the toilet and the shower/tub. You'll get quite clean in the shower if you use the side sprays as well as the one overhead. I loved the double sinks too. The room comes with butler service. The butler brought refreshing juices when I checked in and was available for room service thereafter. I was happy to get orange juice delivered in the morning. It allowed me to linger a bit before going for the breakfast that was included in the room rate. There were coffee and tea makers in the room with green tea as well as black tea available. The service was impeccable—reception, housekeeping, butler, and restaurant staff were quite professional and did their jobs well and with joy. It was a great experience and a pleasure to stay in a hotel that wasn't still using Covid as an excuse to cut services. The St. Regis is a class act.

Family of 4 (kids 12 and 16). Osaka was the tail end of our 2 week visit to Japan. Overall... Enjoyable stay. Beautiful well located property. Would certainly look into staying again next time we find ourselves in Osaka and would happily recommend to friends/family/other TA members. Pre-trip... I contacted the property to mention that my daughters both had their birthdays. Concierge was responsive with suggestions and end result was great. I also had asked as to securing tickets to Universal Studios Japan which the were arranged for a reasonable service charge. Universal Japan has different type of timed passes so it was nice to let the hotel handle it. which they did nicely. We were given our tickets upon arrival and enjoyed the park the next day. Arrival... Porters grabbed the luggage. We were escorted up to the 12th floor reception. Impressive spacious lobby with high ceilings. Well decorated. Plenty of seating. Nice first impression. We arrived a bit later (1900) so there was no wait to check in and head up to our rooms. Rooms.. Spacious, well designed, well furnished, nice layout. Obligatory mini-bar in one corner and a desk area along a wall. Beds were large and comfortable with lighting control and charging enclosed in the bedsteads. We had a nice enough view from our rooms on the 22nd floor (but obviously can't speak for all rooms). Bathroom was spacious as well with double sinks, larger bath/shower area, and walk in closet. Shower has 4 jet nozzles and an overhead that make for relaxing time (a rain shower would have been a nice addition). Of course there's the high tech Japanese toilet..always a curiosity to us westerners who are just hoping not to hit the wrong button in the middle of the night. Welcome drink was a bit boring...juice or water...maybe jazz up the orange juice a bit with some grenadine and call it a mock tequila sunrise? Maybe throw some strawberries and ice in a blender? Something with a bit more wow than what I have in my backpack from the corner 7/11? Birthday surprise was set up and ready in the girls' room upon arrival (towel swans set into a heart with a card in the center). Which was shortly followed by a small cake for the girls to enjoy (while the parents watched on in envy. lol). Both girls enjoyed...so nicely done on the part of the St. Regis team Rooftop Garden/smoking area... Pretty nice in October though smokers might not agree in winter and monsoon seasons. Perfect place to end a hectic day of tourism with a coffee and cigarette. F&B.. The Teppanyaki restaurant was closed 2 out of the 3 days of our stay..and full the other day. I didn't come to Japan to eat Italian or French..so the property's other 2 restaurants didn't fit our needs either.. I'm going to state my dislike for their breakfast "platter" concept. Perhaps they find it advantageous for presentation? Out of the 8 or so items on the pre-set platter, I don't want half of them and want to change another 2. So now I'm stuck explaining what I don't want versus what I want (but still having to explain what I want). I understand that different interpretations of recipes exist but wasn't a fan of the hard little waffles or the French toast that was cooked on the outside but little beyond soggy uncooked egg mixture in the centre. The bar looks really nice and offered live music. On family vacations I prefer to wrap up my evenings with a bit off peace and quiet, but I could imagine it would make for a pleasant couple hours. Staff... All interactions with staff were friendly, professional, and courteous. Porter staff was always right there to call us a taxi and open the doors for us with a "welcome back". Reception staff when not occupied always acknowledged you as guests as well. Location.. Pretty well located for our needs such as being just a few Km from the train station and Osaka castle. Lots of shopping in the surrounding areas. Universal is about 10Km and was a quick taxi ride. It's pretty much a straight 2.5 km walk through the covered market across the street from the hotel to the busy lit up Dotonbori district (shops and restaurants near the hotel seem to close early around 2100, the closer you get to Dotonbori the more shops and restaurants you'll find open late ). End of trip.. I asked the hotel to arrange a large van to get us to the airport which they did with no issues. Check out was the usual scan the invoice and pay the bill (though there was an error neither caught. My guess is that after the night auditor was revived from their heart attack, reception was charged with emailing me the details to quickly resolve the issue). Either way, van was there on time and already loaded by time we got downstairs. We were offered water for then trip by the concierge/porter staff, and off we went. Conclusion... Impressive property with lovely spacious rooms and a service level as could be expected from St Regis tier hotels. We all enjoyed our stay and of course the St Regis will play a positive part in our Osaka memories. I'd certainly be happy enough staying there again next time we find ourselves in Osaka.

The hotel is located in a lovely part of Osaka filled with high end shopping. We had a large room and bath with 2 sinks and a shower and bathtub room with the shower having many shower heads. There is a walk in closet but not many shelves or drawers if you have a lot to unpack. There is a desk and sofa seating area. There are bedside electronics. The room had a full expanse of windows which provided a lovely view of the city and made the room light and airy. The breakfast is not a buffet and includes a set western plate or Japanese plate with some extras that you can order. Seems a waste of food if you don’t want all of the things included on each of the sets. We had initially contacted the concierge by email several weeks before our arrival and they were unable to make the reservation that we requested and offered other suggestions. Unfortunately we did not get back to the concierge until the evening before our arrival and we did not receive a response to our subsequent email, and so we went to the concierge desk upon our arrival at the hotel. The concierge did not speak the best English and we finally, with difficulty, received a reservation for dinner at a beef establishment which was fun but not the best quality meat. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the lovely bar. The hotel is close to a subway entrance. We would recommend this hotel.
