This is a good choice for family travel. The hotel offers a separate room on a platform with a queen bed, and floor mats for more people. The kids made a comfortable bed together in the living area. We thought it was easy to get around to the tourist sights from this hotel as well.

Stayed a single night in March however wish we stayed longer. Staff were incredibly lovely on check-in as we arrived soaked from a rain storm. Excellent standard of English too! Check-in was prompt and our room one of the largest during our travels. Location is excellent, close to the subway but just a 15 minute walk from Dotonbori. We opted to pay for breakfast the following morning which was lovely, well worth paying with a good selection. A side perk, we were facing the local buddhist temple and awoke to the sound of morning prayers, my favourite way to wake up now!

I've stayed at several budget hotels in Osaka but never has the experience been so perfect! Check in with the bilingual front desk took about 30 seconds and I was off to Room 1308. It was sooo spacious! There were 2 beds and a 3rd pull out under one of them. View the View! Nothing was in the way and the windows were extremely large for a business hotel that had a big balcony but there was no way to get outside. I think this hotel must be brand new. Everything was working so well. The AC was quick to chill the room and the small refrigerator got cold right after turning it on. There was also an ice machine on the 12th floor.

I was staying at Osaka View Hotel Honmachi for Easter holiday and the stay was quite good. Location was good just 3 mins to the closest Honmachi subway station. 10-15 on foot to the major shopping street Shinsaibashi. Would go back to this hotel in the future.

A hotel which is clean, new, very near metro and other local convenience stores - what more can you ask? I stayed in a double bed room on my own, and it was enough space for a solo traveller like me. You should be prepared for smaller hotel rooms in Japan, especially the bigger cities, so upgrade to the bigger room if you have a lot of luggage (or else travel light ^_^). This hotel also has the option to include a buffet breakfast with many food options to try, including Western and Asian, so you can't get bored. There may be some congestion in the morning in the first hour of opening as bus loads of tourists are getting ready to checkout and take an early breakfast. However, the wait to be served is not too long, especially if you go after 8am. I found the bedding to be top quality, and slept very well, though the bed was quite firm. All bathroom amenities were provided. The front desk spoke English and were exceptionally helpful. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. For luggage forwarding service, you need to organise it yourself at a nearby Kuroneko Yamato about 8 mins walk away. No big issue. As for the location, I found it perfect as Hommachi is on the Midosuji line and that is the main line for most of the tourist spots. So the central location makes it easy to get to wherever you need to go. Also, Hommachi is a business district, so is quieter on weekends. This hotel ticked all the boxes for an enjoyable 3 night stay in Osaka. I would definitely keep it in mind for next time.
