Arietta Hotel is located in the middle of Osaka’s business district. There’s office buildings all around. While it does not cater to foreign tourists, it does provide for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast is free. They serve mostly bread and danish in small portions, cereals, and yogurt. Coffee is available the whole day. The rooms are clean and just the right size. However, it’s quite a long walk to the nearest subway and bus stations and to shopping malls. But service is efficient. Staff is not the friendliest I’ve encountered but helpful; the lady at the front desk (Kinichi?) helped us a ton on the day we checked out. Because our flight was early, we had to leave the hotel at 6:00 am. She made sure to get us a cab and already served breakfast (usually served at 6:30) so we can grab a quick bite before we took off. Thank you!

Arietta is a nice hotel to stay when visiting Osaka. It seems to tailor to business travelers because of its location but as a tourist I think the location is good as it is just a few minutes from the subway and the shopping district. Dotonburi is also just within 15 minutes walking distance. The staff is very professional due to their clientele. One more thing...the price is affordable...and the room is nicely furnished. The view from the window is the next building over which should be expected given that it is located in the city. I would recommend Arietta and will definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here for four nights recently and were very happy with the facilities and service. Reception staff were efficient and accommodating although English was sometimes not spoken so learn some Japanese:) The deluxe single room was small but big enough for us and the bathroom was great with big bath and toiletries galore. To our surprise, they cleaned our room every day and replaced sheets and towels! Breakfast was included and although not very healthy, it was sufficient. We also enjoyed the free coffee and international newspapers available at reception 24/7. Very good location not far from train station and the dombori shopping precinct. We walked everywhere and took train when necessary. Definitely recommend.

My husband and three of our adults sons met up in Japan. We took the rail from the Kansai airport to our hotel. ONE block to walk with our bags! How convenient and affordable. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and felt like we were in Japan. The location is clean, safe and charming. There are stores, banks, restaurants nearby. And a nearby Starbucks. The staff spoke adequate English and were very helpful. Rooms are the correct size for Japan, not USA. That is the idea when traveling I think. The bathroom was large and lovely. The toilet has heated seat, bidet, shower and plays sounds so no one knows what you are depositing into the toilet. I LOVE IT!!! Washer and dryer onsite. Breakfast was nice and reflects that the people of Japan are not pushing obesity. Rolls, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea. Do not look for the closet or drawers to put your clothes in. Just live out f your suitcase and enjoy fabulous Osaka. Our trip was too short.

Hotel at first look is nice and clean. Locations is neither good nor bad. Rooms are supper small and bed mattress are hard, my back was cracking in the morning. Breakfast is super basic, if your planing to stay for a week or longer you will need to look around to get a better one, as one provided wont do!!! English speaking staff, but this always can vary i guess.
