The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious. My favourite is the open air onsen pool at the top floor. It is very therapeutic to sit in the hot water bath after a tiring day. The hotel is next to the train station and Universal Walk. Very easy to go Osaka town. Finding food to eat was simple too.

this hotel maybe is cheapest at USJ area. very good location, just nearby the station. my twin bed room at 7floor is normal and simply without any view.but their spa bath at 14floor is really amazing view and free use. i checked another hotel at Usj area, even if u are hotel guest but also needs to pay charge. my plan including breakfast, good for japanese people i think.

We stayed here with group of families in April19 (cherry blossom's season). We moved from hotel in Uehonmachi’s area to this part of USJ for 3 nights. The rooms here are indeed very spacious compared to the last we stayed. Is clean, comfortable and modern. Here are the following points about the hotel. Pros : 1. Conveniently located. Once you get off the train at Universal City Train Station, The Singulari Hotel is right at the exit gate. 2. Very spacious (with additional day bed), clean, modern and comfortable beds and easily can accommodate up to 3 adults size. 3. Plenty of restaurants, cafes (ie Starbucks), pharmacies, convenient stores and shopping shops nearby ie GAP and Hard Rock. Recommend to try one particular restaurant ie “RA-MEN” Produced by Kotan (if not mistaken located at 5th floor Universal City Mall). Is tasty and value for money. 4. They have a skyspa (Onsen) (both indoor and outdoor) and is free to hotel’s guest which is a plus point. Great relaxing place to dip in our tiring legs and bodies. However do check beforehand for certain peak/crowded time) 5. Good Japanese branded toiletries such as body soap and shampoo provided inside the room. Other toiletries stuff such as razors, head bands, sponge and etc are freely available at the lobby for Hotel’s guest. No body moisturizer provided though. 6. Excellent water/shower pressure. 7. Close to USJ Cons : 1. No complimentary drinking bottled water provided. Were told tap water is safe to drink. 2. Bit far from downtown. 3. Sound proofing not too good. Noises of guests walking through the corridors could be heard. Others : 1. Can’t comment on breakfast as we choose to eat out.

Stayed here couple nights. The hotel is literally at the train station for Universal and at the entrance to Universal City-walk. The park is a short 5 min walk from lobby. Rooms are good much more spacious then most rooms in Japan. The breakfast was ok. The staff were fine most spoke enough English to get by. Plenty of places to eat in Universal City-walk. You can take boat at the port to Aquarium only 5 min walk from hotel. This hotel has an Onsen spa which is really nice place to relax. The only problem was kids were allowed and one father brought his young daughter into the men’s spa. Also they had a female cleaning attendant in the spa area. Both were a turn off wish the hotel would monitor things like this better. Overall good stay.

I had booked this hotel a few months in advance based on room size (in comparison to other hotels in the area) and a quick read of the good reviews. I was shocked to see so many negative reviews just before we were to arrive. I still felt optimistic and glad I was as the stay was great. The room was a double and it was large! Having travelled over a week in Japan it was one of the largest rooms we had (as you may know Japanese rooms are normally on the small side). The room had lots of suitcase space on sofas that line the side of the room. The room was clean and downstairs they clearly provided all extra amenities that you could need. A lovely little addition was that you could purchase an English movie on their TV for 1000yen (£6) to watch and this was so good given we had been travelling japan for over a week. The staff were helpful at reception regarding universal studio plans / tickets (we had pre bought ours online), however, we did wait approx 5/10 mins to be served as it was busy most times. The breakfast was average but included many good simple foods (pastry’s, toast, fruit, cereal) along with other dishes (pasta, eggs, sausages- not just as good). However, the ‘hot’ food wasn’t overly hot. Other than that, the restaurant was clean and served its purpose... It’s all you really need going to the park and it was nice to sit and have a coffee & food before a busy/long day. They have a skyspa (Onsen) separated by sex. We didn’t have time for this but it did look great. We used the laundry facilities (washer/dryer machine on the top floor) and these were relatively good but they don’t fully dry your clothes in one shot (we did a second Dry only go and this got them 95% there... there are hangers in the room for the last 5% :)) Overall, the last few negative reviews seem alien to me after our experience. Would happily go back if visiting Universal Studios Japan again! :)
