It's conveniently located near a subway station, so it's not a problem even with large luggage. It's also close to Yakuin Station on the Nishitetsu line, so it's very accessible.
We stayed for two nights and had breakfast at both Senbazuru and Green House, but I would recommend Senbazuru. At Green House, the plates and trays are hard to find, as they're at the back, and because of the location there are a lot of Korean group tourists who cut in line to get food or talk loudly, which can be distracting and makes it difficult to relax while eating.
The mizutaki restaurant we went to, which was recommended by the hotel, was cheap and very good.

My first time stay at New Otani during the peak Sakura period.
The hotel lobby is huge. The staff are very friendly and try hard to please.
The rooms are huge by Japanes standard. They introduce a eco system for cleaning the rooms for visitors staying more than one night. I use the system for all my 4N/5D stay. Thumbs up to hotel for helping to save our enviroment.
The two restaurants serve good variety of japanese and international cuisine.
The watanabi-dori subway station is next to hotel and very convenient to go anywhere.
Prices for the food at the two restaurants in the hotel are
per standard business class standard.
Believe this hotel offer good value for business travellers.

Hotel is located a little bit far away from Hakata station, but it does not make big difference if you travel by airplane. Rooms are relatively big and well equipped with everything you might need during your business trip. Hotel service, rooms and facilities, perfect breakfast, and everything in this hotel meet the highest standards of NEW OTANI group.
Despite there are many other hotels nearby the railway station, I always stay at New Otani for my business trips to Fukuoka.

We loved staying at this hotel. Our bags were taken to our room, the staff were lovely and we received an upgrade to a large room with a lounge area and entrance hall. I loved the vintage feel. Each night when we came back to our room it felt cosy, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and breakfast which was also great. The lobby is very elegant and Don Draper from Madmen could walk through and I wouldn't have been surprised!! Highly recommend. We have been in Japan for a month and it's our favourite hotel so far.

I stayed there a few years ago. The location is on Watanabe-dori Street, and the distance between Hakata Station and Tenjin is somewhat inconvenient on foot, but there were no inconveniences as there is a bus stop and subway station on Watanabe-dori in the immediate vicinity. The rooms were cohesive and easy to use. TV, air conditioning, table, refrigerator, security box, as well as coffee maker. Wi-Fi is also comfortable and the location of outlets was easy to use. The bathroom was easy to use and comfortable with a bathtub. There were all kinds of amenities. There was no water pressure or hot water problem with the shower. The breakfast buffet was under COVID-19, so it was different, but I was happy. For about 200 yen extra, I was able to switch to Japanese food at the Japanese restaurant above, but this one was not buffet style, but I was satisfied with the quality and quantity.

The indoor bath had not been thoroughly cleaned, but there was black garbage stuck in some places. I also called the front desk because the temperature wouldn't go down even after I turned on the air conditioner, but they told me that this was the normal room temperature at this hotel and that there was nothing they could do other than lend me a fan. The children slept through the night drenched in sweat. The next day, I went to an acquaintance's room on the same floor and was surprised to find that it was a very comfortable temperature. When I asked again, I was finally given another room, as the air conditioning was not working well in some rooms. What exactly happened that night when I couldn't sleep? The lack of training of the staff who declared that the hot room was normal. If my acquaintance hadn't stayed in the same hotel, I would have slept there for two days sweating. If you find it difficult to sleep in pajamas or yukatas these days, and you have to take baths that are not well-cleaned, there should be a better hotel for the same price.

Unlike Japanese hotel that claim to be hotel this is really a hotel. It has huge lobby, reception area, restaurents and shops inside. 1 min walking distance from Watanabe-Dori makes travel in Fukuoka very convenient. Hakata, Tenjin are both easily accessible.

Rooms were big. Room. Provides 2 bottled water daily. All amenities are provided. Staff is polite and enough manpower to handle guests requests

efficiently.

Do not have any negative/improvement comment as Hotel fulfilled all expectations. Although we visited during Japan Local Holiday Peak season there was no compromise in quality.

In general, I will give a 9.6 out of 10 rating. 0.2 points is deducted due to difficult communication with the hotel after the booking. No response from the hotel after I sent in question(s). Another 0.2 points is deducted due to the hotel itself is a little bit dated and old fashioned (use a key to open the door).
Check-in: Check-in was fast. Check-in time was 14:00 but they let me in at 13:00 as I have just become a Hotel.com gold member.
Location: Location is great and nearby the subway station.
Room: Room has been newly renovated and the room is spacious.
Comfort: Room is very comfortable and is felt like home.
Staff: Staff is helpful and polite.
Service: Service is just made.
I do recommend others to stay and try out this hotel.

This quality hotel is conveniently situated in the town of Fukuoka. It is on a main shopping street and close to a mall offering stores and different kinds of restaurants. We experienced a Japanese Shabu meal here. It is a kind of fondue type meal where you cook your own meat and vegetables! The hotel does offer a great choice of food. It also has an excellent shopping floor selling gorgeous clothing, souvenirs beauty rooms etc. The reception area is large and interesting. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped and comfortable.
Stay here and you may bump into some famous sumo wrestlers, we did !!

I stayed here three years ago during the coronavirus pandemic. I've been to Hakata many times on business trips, but I've always stayed at other hotels due to the proliferation of brand new hotels. What surprised me was the hotel prices. They've risen every year and more than doubled everywhere. I was also surprised to see only Korean and Chinese everywhere. Please continue to provide the same Otani service as you get in Tokyo.
