The staff is helpful although could not speak english well. The room is quite big compared to our other hotels in Japan. Room was somehow old but the bathroom is clean. Location was great, it was not far from odori park which is the main venue for the snow festival, and to reach the other site in susukino we just need to walk through the underground malls with so many restaurants and cafes. Even to go to the further site in tsu dome, we did not get too much difficulties to go by train or by bus. We were quite happy to stay there, even the price was quite high due to the festive season.

This hotel is located in the great location. You can walk to Odori park for Snow festival or the shopping street and not so far from the subway station. The guest room is quite big. There is the smoke odor in the room. Wifi is available in the guest room with free of charge. Breakfast is in Japanese style and not variety but it's tasty.

We decided to book into this hotel after we left our booking to the Winter Festival a little late. What a fantastic surprise, the hotel was spotless and was located just 2 blocks from Odori Park, the main venue for the festival that we were attending. Although our Japanese was basic and most of the staff did not speak English they were helpful and very friendly. The hotel itself was basic but as we spent enough minimal time in the hotel this was more than sufficient for our needs. The bed was a bit softer than we were used to but it was fine. The bathroom was very basic but had all the required amenities. Overall the hotel was not spectacular but was everything its website said it would be. I would stay there again without hesitation.

My adult daughter and I spent two nights at this hotel while visiting Sapporo for the Snow Festival. We were booking on fairly short notice and the prices were high and/or the hotels were at some distance. The location here is fantastic. It is just a block south of Odori Park and a block and a half from the subway station. The stop for the hotel is just one stop south of the main Sapporo JR station, but is is also a reasonable cab ride from the main station. There is a Lawson convenient store nearby, and shops, underground malls and restaurants are all an easy walk even in the snow. The room was very clean and pleasant. It was not large, but this is Japan. We had comfortable twin beds, a mini-frig, tea pot, and a very nice bathroom with all the amenities and toiletries of a fine hotel. The lobby is quite nice and the front desk staff were very helpful and spoke a little English. We found it to be pleasant, quiet and very convenient.
