All beds are twin and not comfortable to sleep. It's a "child friendly" place but you can't sleep with a toddler in the bed due to the fact the beds are twin. They offer cribs but not all children sleep in cribs so for us was impossible to rest and have a good quality sleep. You can have twin beds but mattress shoudl be double for the ones who needs double bed. Rooms are bit dirty and not well taken care furtniture looks old. Place has potential but it's clearly not well managed. Not sure how safe is to walk around the place as there are wild dogs in the area so might be unsafe with kids.

We've come here with my little niece for the promise of baby-friendly environment and amenities, which are pretty satisfying, after having been there for 2 nights at the beginning of March 2022. The big problem was we had paid for 2 rooms for 4 nights but couldn't end our mini-vacation there because the 2nd night was a living nightmare with the occupants of the room that was intermixed with ours: a dubious pair who obviously were drunk or/and high, shouting and swearing and making a noisy sex show from 2 am till 7 am. My niece, along with us (3 adults) was brutally awakened and scared, so we went to knock on their door to kindly ask for them to quiet down, but were rudely replied they do what they please (obviously we couldn't get through to them in that drunken/high state). So the next step was to call to 2 mobile numbers for the reception, like 10 times, with no answer whatsoever. We even went to the reception in the middle of the night, and surprise-surprise! found nobody there, nor any stuff member on the whole property. Basically, we had this nightmare of a situation next door to us - and couldn't close an eye or an ear, since my niece was a witness to all that show - and nobody, not even one person from the stuff answered the phone or was on location to intervene. In the morning we've asked to speak with the manager on the phone to report the problem we had to endure that whole night, and we were offered lame excuses that they never had such situations to employ somebody to be on call for the night. Basically, no protection at all for their guests during the night, against these kind of common scenarios that can and do happen, or even worse scenarios, when you can be assaulted or abused by drunken or violent people. We had to file a formal complaint with the Health and Safety Public Department, because the manager didn't even want to refund us the money for the 2 nights paid but never used given this major incident that compelled us to go and find 2 rooms elsewhere. Thankfully, the Wolkendorf was formally fined and we are currently waiting to receive back our SO WASTED money there. They may be claiming they are a 4 stars resort, but once you're there, you end up realising you have been duped and fooled by their very un-authentic presentation of themselves.

We had a really nice stay, our room was spacious and very clean, the spa was nice (great saunas, super clean, small indoor pools but quite enjoyable (one with bubbles). The staff was nice in both restaurant and reception, informing us about closing times and last orders in advance. They have some super cute rabbits, very nice courtyard and a truly relaxing place and atmosphere. We were not asked to pay for parking, even though it is advertised on their website. As a tip, we booked our trip from their website (it was about 200 ron cheaper than booking). Also, as they ask for a minimum 2 nights stay, we opted for Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday nights, as again, this option was consistently cheaper. The reason for which I am only giving 4 stars is that you can literally hear everything from the rooms next door, we stayed in the 3rd building, at the first floor and we heard each and every time a door was opened/closed, as well as the TV from the other room. Also, once you use the shower you can no longer use the sink properly as it's way to wet, but it's still manageable. All in all, I recommend this place, we really had an enjoyable stay!

It's the hotel that ruined our stay. There is no understanding for absolutely nothing and you do not feel like a guest but just a bag of money that they want to empty. If you want to have a stay, vacation or just a little peace ... avoid this "hotel" !!!

Nice location, spacious room, close to Brașov. It was a family stay, and I can say that it is a baby friendly location, with care for breakfast, diversity for the little ones (cream soup for breakfast, noodles with milk). Instead the disappointment was from the poorly trained staff, the food served was always cold, a beef goulash served was with the bag on the plate. I ordered pasta for a 2 year old child and we received pasta with chili. And when we arrived at the accommodation we had to pay for parking 15 RON / day in the conditions in which it was written on the site that it is free. I really don’t recommend this location. Expensive and they don’t offer quality for that.

Went here with family and my 2y daughter esp. as they advertised it as a bio-food & child friendly location. Definetely I haven't seen any bio food - the kids menu has same dishes as for adults, but just smaller portions. On top of that, in one of the evenings, for the child, we got a fried salmon (instead of oven cooked) that was uncooked. Poor covid measures - employees were half wearing masks, breakfast was freely at the discretion of tourists (everybody touching it) and the activities for kids were held in a small room with kids and parents inside without masks. So, overall, would definetely not recommend it!

First of all, the sanitary measures are not taken into account, the mask is not worn by the employees, and the most terrible thing is that we were hit for the second time by the situation in which the bed linen was not changed. Given the situation with covid this is inadmissible. The second thing, the food is more expensive and the quality is low, twice we asked to change our food because it endangered our health. Thirdly, the spa does not change the water in the pool, it smells very bad, I always asked for aromas for sauna, water, etc. I considered it the best breakfast, but this time I couldn't find any omlette or bread, and the dishes were empty. The excuse was that they didn't expect more people and were taken by surprise. Bad coffee, as usual. The quality of services has dropped to the lowest level. I've been to this place four times, and it was the last time.

We came here on a small detour, for a nice lunch on our way to Bran Castle and what can I say…. The food, the staff and the decoration were absolutely amazing. We barely opened the door and this young, cheerful waiter greeted us and invited us to have a sit. We ordered, for starter, a vegetable soup and tomato soup, both of them were extremely good. The big surprise though was the “beef cheeks” which Paul, our waiter, recommended to us. The meat was very tender and savoury with a very nice plating as you can see in the picture. We were very excited about our visit here and will defenetly come back, especially to try the SPA, which Paul recommended, for which we didn’t have time… Keep it up guys!

The hotel does not keep its promise to be an oasis of peace and relaxation. It is a lit of noise at night and you cannot get a restful night sleep. The doors and walls of the hotel are not soundproofed, the cleaning ladies are noisy. If it rains, the rainwater drain makes a lot of noise. The closet in the room does not have usable selves and you cannot not even partially unpack. The tables at the restaurant are not regularly disinfected, they are sticky. Until tou get a menu at the restaurant it takes around 15 minutes and after another 15 more your order is taken. At the spa not all facilities are usable, the water in the inside pools is cold, the outside pools are not usable. When we wanted to leave the hotel in the middle of our stay, we told the manager our reasons and the fact that for us the stay at their hotel was not working for us. He said the money for the remaining nights would be reimbursed in 7-10 working days and that never happened. Every time we contacted him afterwards he just told us he had to check something and come back. He never did. It is extremely disappointing that a 4 star hotel does not take responsibility for what happens in their hotel and don’t care about their guests.

Big expectations and a bad experience. I think the property has nice location, but it is badly managed. We had problems with the bathroom (water leaking into the main room plus issues regarding cold water, so you couldnt use the shower etc). The reception answer was very poor, a lie and no action taken. Only after we asked for the administration manager our question got some answer. So, the price is for sure too high for what they can offer at the moment and it looks like they are not interested in preserving a good perception for the property. We will not come back, unfortunately for them. I didnt care about the other negative reviews before, and after i realised it was better to take them into account.
