Don't know why I returned. Bitten alive first time round. Chewed to bits second! Never known so many biting insects and mosquitos. Because it is built in a swamp I suppose. Sometimes insects were so bad they looked like clouds in the evening. Also still very loud and noisy until early hours. Dreadful. Definitely won't return again. Worse not better.

Positioned on the edge of a swamp, this site means you get Bitten alive as soon as the sun goes down. Never known so many mosquitos anywhere. Apparently this is an all year round problem. Pleasant enough site, although somewhere near had all night music on Saturdays which kept us awake. Nice pool. Beach beautiful.

We understand Grande Cosse is under new management. When we have stayed in the past it has been with a small organisation which were brilliant. So we can only say location amenities surrounding villages site facilities were excellent and the long beach is great.

Stayed at the La Grande Cosse on the 7 September for 6 days in Lebech cottage for 6 persons, plenty of room as only 2 of us. Nice clean accommodation, good location, nice long beach, good for early morning walks, very friendly site and staff. slightly spoilt by lots of mosquitoes, badly bitten on first night which took the edge...

The place is lovely, a great naturalistic frame to enjoy real naturism. I booked a "3 flower" pitch some months in advance, I paid the entire price 1 month in advance as requested, but when we arrived, there was no "3 flower" pitch available for us. They proposed us a mobile home at the same price, but we were travelling...

Grande Cosse used to be a lovely tranquil naturist site. It is not now. Apparently there are new owners under the banner of Yelloh Village, who have changed everything for the worse. There is loud music from the bar until midnight and very often someone on a loud microphone in the daytime shouting, which permeates the whole campsite. Loud music...

What on earth have Yelloh done? I have just returned from my seventh visit in eight years to this site, but never again. I heard that there were changes planned when the sight changed hands but it seems that the major change is that they have alienated people. Normally at this time of year the site is starting to fill...

We stayed three nights and I think it was the worst bungalow in the campsite. The first day we claimed an umbrella for the table, which was in the others bungalows, and they never brought us. The bungalow was full of spiders, dirty and old.

Campsite ideal for a family looking for a holiday in the nature. Beautiful beach and picturesque landscape. The staff was very helpful and so friendly: they fixed tree bicycles and a battery for free.

This place draws us back year after year it's so lovely. The pitches are huge and well shaded. the facilities are very good and the site is very efficiently run. Its position is wonderful as you can walk "au naturel" for miles along the beach to the village, just remember to bring some clothes if you fancy a coffee !
