We felt truly at home in this welcoming, family run hotel during our 6 day's of ski touring in the beautiful Valle Maira. Lovely setting, serving excellent local food, with a fine selection of Piedmont wines, in a very friendly, helpful and efficient fashion and all at reasonable prices. Relaxing with other skiers in front of the hotel in the...

We, a group of 5 ski-hikers, have been staying in La Marmu this February. Franca and Ivan are dearest hosts in this cosy and comfortable accomodation. Therefurbished rooms are clean, have good heating and warm showers. Franca is a wonderful cook for delicious local meals (eg. fresh home-made pasta!) and an excellent selection of wines (local from the Alba area)....

We stayed here for 4 nights for mountain walking and had a wonderful time. The hosts are so friendly and the food is plentiful and excellent. Everything is either home grown or home made like the pasta, so yummy. They are very generous and share their own home brew liquor. The wines are well priced not expensive. All in all...

The house is completly refurbished and brought to a perfect modern level, but still with a slight atmosphere that is typical for a vintage mountain village. The rooms are very tidy and clean and every room has a different but good combination of an old basic structure like...

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was an excellent choice. The owner was very flexible (we arrived after midnight etc) and absolutely helpful when discussing mountainbike trails and hiking options. And his mother is a brillant cook! Her homemade Pasta is mouthwatering. She even gave us the recipe. :-) The room we stayed in had an alpine style...

The best way to meet a very friendly family of Italy. After a few days you belong to the same family. Biological from Bruno's garden, they bake their own bread and have a very good assortment of Italian wines. Go there!
