Rafaella was a wonderful hostess! The rooms were clean and have individual AC units that work. Her suggestions for touring and dinners were perfect. Close to the road but it was not an issue and the hospitality more than made up for the occasional noise. About 1.5 km walk to the town of Barolo. A great experience!

Visiting Barolo on a week-long cycling trip with Cycle Ventoux, I have had a great experience at Agriturismo Il Gioca Dell'Oca. The owner Raffaela is a proud, engaging, hospitable and extremely considerate hostess who runs a fantastic Agriturismo establishment just a few minutes from Barolo town. From the moment you arrive, the coffee and brilliant cakes are served and the... More

My husband and two young children enjoyed four nights here along with our friends who also had their young son with them. Rafaella, the owner, was helpful right from first point of contact. She ensured we would have the right rooms for our family (quadruple for us and triple for our friends) and even organised a babysitter for us while... More

Extremely satisfied with our stay here. Rafaella is an amazing host and made our stay most memorable. Location is easy to find and very accessible. We had a car and stayed for four nights but traveled around the Langhe region. Rafaella gave us many tips on where to go, good restaurant recommendations (which were spot on!), and also showed us... Signora Raffaella and her family make you feel at home at her rustic place with clean new bath-rooms, a barbecue facility and good breakfast. Free WiFi and card payment are accessible when they work. The traffic-noise from the nearby road one hears. Out of season, the villages, with wine dégustation and eating places are well accessible by car and parking... More

The place is simple but cosy and you always feel welcome. Raffaela goes out of her way to help with anything. I come here every year to relax and simply fantastic. The breakfast deserves a special mention.

Rafaella owns this restored B&B about 1 km from Barolo. She went out of her way to help us plan our time there and how to get around since we didn't have a car. Rafaella does everything with a smile, including serving breakfast with homemade pastries and jams. There are several wineries within walking distance.

We drove down from Milan, to have a short layover near Barolo before moving on to Liguria. This little inn was the perfect solution. Small, quiet, and friendly...more importantly a reasonable price. Rafaella was very welcoming, and Nonna served us a wonderful breakfast on the terrazzo of fresh baked bread, apple cake, and hand crafted jams. Thank you for a... More
