Have just spent 3 nights at the Contrada Durano with hosts James and Diana. The room was spacious, very tastefully decorated and furnished. Bedding and towels were high quality and sparkling white. The breakfasts were excellent and varied and we very much enjoyed the evening meals - both used local ingredients. Wifi was a bit patchy, but there was a...

James and Diana were so special and wonderful hosts. We left feeling as though we had made two very special friends. The Agriturismo was lovely--to lovely for words. Views to die for and the meals were simply amazing. We will definitely be back!

Contrado Durano, while off the beaten path, is well located for day trips into the mountains or into the lovely town of Ascoli Piceno. James, our host, is a wealth of information about all there is to see and do in the surrounding areas. Each day he sent us off with an ample breakfast and made sure to go over...

Okay so I'm a little late in writing this review. My husband and I stayed here April 2009. we were greeted by Jimmy and Concetta in the quaint lobby with a cocktail. Loved this place. Way off the beaten path and not too near touristy type attractions, which was precisely what I was seeking. Great hosts, excellent food, spacious clean...

Friendly, well run, with magnificent views and superb breakfasts. The owner is British with a font of knowledge of where to go and what to see. The rooms were comfortable and everything in them worked, including the hairdryer

All this in a beautifully restored historic building. This was our second visit to Contrada Durano. Le Marche drew us back to explore the area on day trips. Ascoli Piceno is...

My wife and I had the very great pleasure of staying at Contrada Durano on New Year's Eve. It was our second stay although we have dined on Concetta's magnificent cuisine a number of times when we have been in Le Marche. It was yet again a truly wonderful experience. There are not enough superlatives to describe the experience of...

We first found Jimmy and Concetta at the end of a long frustrating day driving on one of our first trips to Italy. Despite not booking they warmly welcomed us and the stress just drifted away. The rooms are delightful and comfortable with amazing views and comfortable beds; Jimmy is an engaging host with a great taste in wine and...
