Its a rustic & homely place. We are specialist in Kitesurfing but also have a number of other options for nature lovers, water sports enthusiasts or just people who like to relax. We have two seasons - May to September is our main kitesurfing season. November to April is the Whale, Dolphin, Diving season. Kitesurfing in also very good from December until March!We have free yoga, bicycles, sup and kayaks for use :). Kitesurfinglanka is the best location in Kalpitiya.

- Keryn5 contributionsKitesurfing paradiseThis is my second visit to kitesurfinglanka and for me being a solo traveller/kitesurfer is the perfect location. The camp is set under an existing coconut plantation with a variety of accomodation to choose from being bungalows, tents or the house. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help with anything you want to know. The food is out of this world, a Sri Lankan banquet every meal, all nationalities sitting together sharing stories. There are plenty of activities on those windless days or just hang out in the chill out zones scattered here and there. The kitesurfing in the big lagoon is only a truck ride away, you can go morning and afternoon sessions or you can kite right out the front of the camp in the ocean. The location here in the north west of the island is pristine, no development and full of nature. For me this is the perfect kitesurfing holiday and a true srilankan experience 🙏Hey thanks for the review. Every building has unique touches and there’s incredible art pieces everywhere! The rooms were very comfortable and we loved sitting on our balconies. The staff were amazing and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. There’s literally something for everyone- beach, bar, Kitesurfing, yoga and a gym nearby! The best part was how committed they were to the environment with trash collection/ recycling, upcycling & a program where they replant mangroves and educate on their cause. The place is full of positive vibes the staff and owners are very accommodating and extremely professional! U can place ur trust in them to provide u a holiday that is value for money! Situated in Kalpitiya on a secluded beach spot away from crowds! Kitesurfing lessons are provided for an additional charge..u can go and see dolphins or go kayaking or just have a sea bath and relax! The food is basic but really tasty! So many Instagram worthy spots. There’s a yoga hut and lessons are provided as well as a masseuse if u would like to get a massage done! Well worth a visit!Thank you for coming back to KSL. Hopefully by the time you come next we make our mini goft course. Loved this place. Great location next to a mangrove fringed lagoon and then the beach and ocean. You can kite off the beach in Jan-March, and in the large lagoon 10 mins drive away for the other wind season. Also trips most days to other kite spots to follow the wind, waves or flat water. Great instructors, and really helpful in giving my kids a couple of taster lessons. I reckon we have a couple of budding kite surfers, and my family holidays are now sorted! The accommodation here is perfect - something for everyone, from tents to bungalows with or without AC, to the owner's villa, where you can rent the top or bottom floor, or the whole thing. We took the top floor, and it was superb. Really comfortable, great view of the garden full trees, flower and birds, and out over to the sea. Great communal areas and a bar. Lots for my kids - table tennis, pétanque, kayaking, on site, and a swimming pool in the next door hotel for a small fee. The food is AMAZING. Cooked by a great team - the cook has been there since the place opened 10 years ago. A generous and delicious buffet of European and Sri Lankan food. Really good. Pizza night on the beach and a Saturday night BBQ are regular fixtures. One of the best things about this place is the staff - genuinely friendly, interested, and helpful, and never intrusive. Really made us feel welcome the whole time. Oh, nearly forgot the yoga classes (ace, on a super tranquil deck over the lagoon) and the fabulous blind massage man - sorry to forget his name. Perfect after a day on the water. We loved this place, especially my kids, and my wife who is not a kiter. Yet! Can't wait to come back. Thank you all! …

Great place, very nice people and great vibes. The food is very good also. We came here in 4:30 am and they gave us nice and kind service. Also if you want to learn kitesurfing this is the right place for you. The the guides are very professional and helps with everything.

Amazing place and people. Me and my wife are into trying new experiences everytime we travel, and kitesurfing here in Kitesurfing Lanka perfectly fits. We had our Shiatsu massage with Joseph upon arrival which is so relaxing, barbeque party on our first night and the vibe was great. Will definitely comeback when my wife’s ready to have her kitesurfing sessions as well, since she just had her operation couple of months back and can’t just do it yet this time.

I would fully recommend this place. It were for sure the best 4 days of our Sri Lanka trip. Great place to learn kite surfing & the vibe is so chill, social. Also the food is amazing. We were sleeping in a tent which is also a great experience.

Great and clean camp where you can perfectly meet other travelers at the bar, enjoy good food and go kitesurfing. The hangout-area is also very nice, where you can play table tennis or choose between many different games. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Super awesome kamp! Lots of good people from all over the world. My mom and I are learning kiting here and it was great, super nice teachers and also take the time to learn you things. The staff are awesome and made my time so much fun!! Also really good food and nice clean bungalow we stayed in. Really recommend it to everyone, starters or people that kite for years… they have it all!

This was the best way to end our two months trip. Me and my friend stayed here in a bungalow. It was an amazing week. The place is like a paradise which i sometimes couldnt believe i was there. Everything is well organized by the staff. In dutch i would say "ze mogen in hun handen knijpen with such a great staff". ;-) Every day the kite equipement was perfectly arrange, the foodddd was delicious! And just the service and the vibe, perfect. The lagoon is nice to learn kitesurfing, with the boat (and upwind ;-))service you are absolute safe. During the week the wind was a bit low and gusty, but we went to other spits by boat. You do have to pay extra for these trips. Overall an amazing week and place you wanna come back to.

Amazing week spent at Kitesurfing Lanka ! The team is super friendly and professional, food is great and kite lessons were awesome. Stayed in the beach bungalow, if you want to wake up with a view on the ocean, go for it ! Highly recommended, I will for sure come back next year !

Just a great place to stay for everyone. Great food, super friendly people and a easy going vibe. There are several trips to do, for kitesurfing and also for non-kiters. Also the accommodation is really good. There are fan or AC depending on your room.
