Unique Cabanas build from natural resources and beautifully well designed architecture. The staff were very pleasant and friendly specially the manager Mr. Samith and the Chef who pampered us with delicious food. There’s one of a kind infinity pool by the beach where you’ll feel disappointed to get out of. Location is the best with nice sceneries and best spot to get romantic and watch the sunset. Highly recommend for families with kids since there are many outdoor activities and water sports to do. Herds of Donkeys come in to the resort and run by the beach which’s lovely to watch. The manager told us that they arrange whale and dolphin watching tours which is very famous for Kalpitiya. Overall it was a good experience, me and my wife enjoyed our stay and hoping to visit again.

Very tranquil and quite place, very beautiful scenery, very close to nature and eco-friendly. The stuff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty. The villas are made with love and with guests' needs consideration. There are sups and kayaks to rent. The beach is fascinating. Another bonus is that there are no people around (the other hotels are quite far away). You can find here a nice pool and some hidden chill zones with beautiful views. There are a lot animals in the hotel's territory: donkeys, cats, dogs, birds, cows who are very sweet. If you are not sure what villa to choose, here are some tips from our personal experience of staying in beach and round villas*: • Beach villa is good for those who want to be as close to nature as possible: the villa is actually a big comfortable hut with everything you need. The chill space on the second floor with the hammock and the sea view is the best in the resort. The villa is constructed from wood having gaps between walls and roof, and different levels, so we assume that when the weather is windy, it feels very nice and fresh inside. • If you prefer more conservative comfortable stay with no cats, birds, bats, insects having ability to come into your room, choose round/rectangular villa. They offer stone walls with ability to close all the windows and doors with no gaps. This way it provides you darkness when you sleep and significantly less noise from the outside (donkeys and birds who live here produce very loud noise). Also nice additions are the doors between the main space and lavatory and shower. What is more, you have big ceiling fan in this type of villas which is essential here. The terrace also has a nice chill zone with the garden and lagoon view. These villas are the most spacious. • We haven't stayed in cabanas, but they look the same as beach villa but smaller, without hot water and with the lagoon view. The first lagoon has nice flat not deep water, the second one's water looks dirty and has rubbish floating inside. The wind in the lagoon is slightly less strong. Also mind that the lagoons don't get fresh water from the sea. Take into consideration that when no wind, there are mosquitos and flies here, which is annoying (specially in beach villa) but in windy days they are probably blown away. * We've been here in low season when there was no wind, no other guests, a lot of rain and very high humidity, so consider that it feels different in high season.

We had an excellent stay at Elements. The Resort is kept quite natural and very comfortable. The Cottages are very nice, the showers are awesome (no hot water but you won‘t need it anyway - believe me :)) The team is very friendly, helpful, authentic and makes excellent food. The wind was very good when we were there. For kiting you can go into the Indian ocean right by the resort when advanced or to the nearby lagoon (5-10 minute walk to the nearby lagoon which is flat, knee to hip deep, so basically perfect for beginners and freestylers. There is a small shack with a very friendly owner by the lagoon so you have a chance to chill and have a cold drink or coconut inbetween sessions. As kiteboarder I can highly recommend Elements and if you want to have a very quiet and nice vacation this would be the place to go to as well :)!

Stayed in a cabana, which was perfect. You feel it's your own personal secluded space amongst the palm trees, with lovely views out to the sea. There are even donkeys running around, which are great to watch. The staff are wonderful and always friendly and willing to help. The food is also amazing! Could not fault this place. Even if you don't kite board we thoroughly recommend it. We took out a couple of paddle boards and had a great trip out on the lagoon.

We started our honeymoon in Kalpitiya to kitesurf in this resort and the place was spectacular, perfect conditions to start, navigate or practice tricks both in the lagoon and in the Indian Ocean. In addition to kitesurfing, you can enjoy its beaches with beautiful sunsets ending with a swim in the infinity pool and enjoying the typical Sri Lankan cuisine. The resort also offers a lounge bar to rest, listen to chill out music or take books to read while enjoying the sea view. The team of people who work there are super friendly and very professional, very attentive and friendly at all times, we feel at home! In short, if you want to enjoy a vacation to disconnect and rest, go kitesurfing and enjoy the beaches and gastronomy of Sri Lanka, this is undoubtedly paradise, 100% recommended, we are already thinking of returning soon!
