Beautiful place and nice rooms! We stayed there for 8 nights, left our kitesurfing gear there and travelled around the country. After that we came back and enjoyed our stay for some days more. The food is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, Kenny (the cook and the manager) does a really good job. The rest of the staff... More

I stayed for four nights at Diyamba and I was extremely happy with my stay. It was a very homely and welcoming place, and the staff were helpful and lovely people. The resort was right next to the beach, which we spent every morning on swimming and sunbathing, whilst also meeting many of the local animals - which we absolutely... More

When I first arrived I thought that it wouldn't be a place I wanted to stay as I normally I stayed in bigger hotels, after a few hours of staying here I began to love the feel of the place. The staff were incredible so friendly and lovely to talk too. The food was very traditional however extremely nice a... More

The staff here are all amazing and the chef Kenny does amazing food all the time. We were skeptical at first being our first stop in Sri Lanka but not once got sick from anything here and... More

We planed to stay for two nights and end up staying a week. The owner and her staff are so nice and kind, that we had hard time saying good bye. The food the chef Kani make is so good, it's so worth the money, we eat all the dinners just waiting to see what he will make next. The... More

Diyamba is sort of a home away from home kind of place. We love the laid back nature of this simple but very comfortable hotel. The beach is to die for. Could stay in the water for hours till sunset and feel very safe. We also like the dining and the common living area that accommodates 2 different groups for... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay from the moment we set foot in the property. Their Chalets are spacious and have private patios. This hotel is an amazingly kid-friendly place. The extremely friendly staff even set up an inflatable kiddie pool for our three children (4, 4 and 6 years). The... More

This was our first visit to Kalpitiya, but it won't be our last! We spent 2 nights at this delightful resort, with great food and a very friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect for one of the nicest and safest beaches in Sri Lanka. You can wade out for about 50 metres and still be in shallow water. It is... More

We arrived at Diyamba Beach Resort (DBR) after few exchanges with the owner who was very prompt over email and SMS on rates and amenities. We requested for a cot for our 5mo baby and it was a very sturdy, spacious one which I was very happy about. There are very good mosquito nets for the adult beds (Best to... More

Thanks for your detailed review. i am sure it will be helpful. At the price point we are at and the naturistic feel we are trying to keep, we do the best we can. But we will always work to improve. Thanks for your thoughts More
