We stayed here over a 4 day holiday visiting the 5 terre and loved coming back home after a long day exploring to this cozy and warm b&b in the mountains. It wasn't a fancy place, but had everything you needed to be comfortable and enjoy your stay.. no A/C which was okay since it wasn't terribly hot, but it...

Location was perfect for us... we were lookinf for quiet place, far from touristic tracts. The views were amazing, service was ok, flexible, but... room was much smaller than they wrote on booking.com - not 17 sqm, but maybe 12. No air condition... we ordered room with one bed, but we received two connected single beds. Price - not expensive...

What a wonderful suprise after driving up a mountain you turn a corner and there is La Locanda del Podesta. The room was a good size with the most amazing views over the still snowed capped mountains in the distance. Adjacent (still part of the same original stone building) is a small restaurant/bar with terrace. The interior decoration is contemporary...

We stayed at this hotel because of the nice reviews but found it really disappointing. The rooms don't have air conditioning and on 35c it gets terribly hot. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and even with a car it's a hassle. Rooms are small really bad, lack simple things like soap... Food at the hotel was bad as...

simple but good apartements in small village on the hill, with great restaurant nearby with local authentic food from Liguria. Great starting point for visiting Cinque Terra or Lerici. Also startingpoint for a nice hike through the lower mountains.

Beautiful setting, around 20 mins drive from La Spezia town. Right up in the hills on a winding country road. Only a couple of residential houses nearby. Definitely need to be driving to access this hotel. The restaurant below served the best pasta we've ever had in Italy, you must eat there at least one night! Everyone in the village...

It's not easy to find it but, once you arrive, you cannot trust your eyes. It's like going to your grandparents' house again and you are allowed to play again. The room is medieval styled but with a modern bathroom, the terrace shady, the staff extremely friendly, the kitchen excellent, the price correct, silence is overwhelming, clean and cosy. The...

we stayed there for a night during a recent trip through italy. it takes some time to get there from la spezia since its pretty much on top of a mountain. but once you get there youll instantly realize that it was worth it. you've got a breathtaking view over the valleys around the hotel, especially from the terrace where...

The Locanda del Podestà is perfect if you want to relax... The area is beautiful, the rooms are clean and simple and the view is spectacular! The location is a bit out of hand, but Rossella is really helpful in explaining exactly how to get to the sea, and where to go! She also gives handy shortcuts! The only "problem"...

This is one of the all time best places I have ever stayed! Nestled up in the hills it is so beautiful, the rooms have great character and the owner was very helpful and made us feel at home. The food was simple but good and everything was clean and well kept. I will be back!
