Having a floating jetty and also a concrete jetty make the arrival dry unlike other islands. Beach is naturaly clean as it takes 90min ride in a speed boat. Nearby madam beach is more beautiful which is also part of the resort. Snockling experience is perfect because of the skillful guides. Nimo fishes, coral and antimoni are colourful and diverse. Grilled sea fish is so fresh and tasteful that duck curry and chicken wings become side dishes. Rooms have full facility including wifi in such a location of midsea.

The scenery on ths island is very beautiful . Although it is an island, it serves 3 buffet meals Snorkeling is also very cool. Guide is so professional n explains it well and is suitable for both adults and non-swimmers The staffs were very friendly n always ready to serve you They also perform the show at the dinner time .. so cool .

Seaview villa with breathtaking view. The hotel staffs are super friendly. Provide 3 meals as buffet system but all the meals are super delicious. Snorkeling experience with awesome underwater world with experienced divers. Can chill at infinity swimming pool.

Just got back from the island & I have to say it was one of my best trips ever! The scenery is really breathtaking that photos can't capture the full beauty. Really recommend to those who love nature. Crystal clear water, white sands, variety of sea creatures & beautiful corals that you can see while snorkeling.. everything is so so stunning that I felt like I was dreaming. And don't worry if you don't have any snorkeling experience, the guide will help and take care of you all the time. Just pay attention to the guide's instructions and you would be fine. It was my first time snorkeling too. And one thing I want to add is that I am really thankful to all the guides & hotel staffs. All of them are helpful and professional. The staffs also perform variety of entertainment for the guests and the performances are really cool, especially fire dance. They use fire ( I mean REAL FIRE ) and it really amazed me. You just have to experience yourself. The foods are really fresh and excellent too. I still miss their seafood bbq buffet (lol). One thing you should know before you go there - there is no cell phone service on island. Have wifi, slow but can still use. Believe me, it is worth visiting.. you won't regret choosing this place!…

We visited Nyaung Oo Phee Island which is the hidden gem of Myanmar, and stayed at Victoria Cliff Resort there for 3 days. The boat ride from KawThaung to Nyaung Oo Phee Island was long, but the view was worth it. It is the best beach trip I have ever had in my life. First of all, the rooms are well-decorated and sparkly clean thanks to all the hardworking staffs. I snorkeled for the first time so a little worried about it, but our guide explained the procedure clearly. And, all of us enjoyed snorkeling and swimming with no problem. The guides and the owner's son also captured our moments in underwater for free. I saw a lot of beautiful sea creatures, colorful coral reef and sea fern. One of the highlights of Victoria Cliff Resort was meal. They offered buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seafood bbq was really fresh, and everything starting from appetizer to dessert was delicious. During night time, the staffs performed traditional dance and fire dance. As for their famous fire dance, it's real fire, and I was in awe. Camera doesn't do justice. You have to see that fire dance with your own eyes. The performers looking so relax as if they were playing with fire. The only downside of this trip was I wished I had stayed more days. I will make sure to go there next time, and try scuba diving. I highly recommend Nyaung Oo Phee Island if you are looking for a beach trip but something new.…

4 days 3 nights trip. Around 2 hrs boat ride to the island from Kaw Thaung. Hotel and snorkeling staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel facilities include wifi (slow but fast enough to upload your photos), infinity pool, gym, massage place, and 24hrs electricity. Breathtaking views from bungalows. Lots of places to take photo if that's your interest. Heard from other family members our guide is awesome at taking photos. Three Highlights of the trip are: Snorkeling - Went to eight sites and snorkel around 30 mins at each site. Noob at aquatic life so can only say I saw lots of colorful sea creatures and different types of corals. They also take photos for you underwater. Food - package includes all three meals mostly Myanmar and Thai styles. Surprised us with kebab one dinner and Vietnamese roll one dinner (different days) Food taste awesome but the spicy ones are too spicy for me (still good though) Fire dance - Nothing to add, just need to go and experience yourself but yes the dance is with real fire. Does not look as good on phone video camera because of the speed. Can also stay in tent but tents does not have air conditioning. Did a thirty minutes hike from a different beach to the hotel beach. Would like to try scuba diving and kayaking on the next trip. …

I booked a 4 days, 3 nights stay at the Victoria Cliff Hotel and Resort which included a one night stay at its branch/sister hotel, the Victoria Cliff Resort at the Nyaung Oo Phee Island through the TZK Hotel and Tour Company in Yangon. I was in Myanmar in January 2020. The reservations or bookings which included flights were efficiently handled and the staff with whom I contacted over the phone were pleasant, courteous and knows their job well to be able to make useful suggestions. The package also included a tour of interesting places in and around Kawthoung; including the Maliwun Waterfalls, the hot springs, the southern-most point of Myanmar in Kawthoung itself. The Victoria Cliff Hotel in Kawthoung commands one of the most beautiful views out on to the sea with the islands of the Meik Archipeligo dotted in front. the hotel being on the hillside or the cliff on the way into Kawthaung itself from the airport. The hotel is strategically placed to maximise the view with an infinity pool also overhanging on the cliff. My room was well proportioned with a balcony. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel has both sea view rooms as well as "lake view rooms" over looking a small lake in it's garden. At the bottom of the cliff, there is also a pier stretching out a good length. The Sunset views from the pool, or the balcony of my room or indeed the pier are the best sunset views I have come across. You can also take a panorama view of the hotel, perched on the cliff, from the pier. There are electric carts which one can ask for to take you to the pier or the entrance of the hotel on the other side from the reception. The food at the hotel was good and I found myself having both my breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant which is also along the cliff with a great view. The highlight of my stay was the one and a half hour speedboat ride across the sea to the Nyaung Oo Phee island where the sister hotel was located. The hotel, again, was comfortable with a good sized room with all toilet and shower facilities. Along the beach at one end is the swimming pool, again an infinity pool with spa facilities and function rooms or halls. Snorkelling as well as diving facilities are available; and if you need you can also buy swimwear for snorkelling and or diving. For anyone who had not done snorkelling, there are short sessions on the art of snorkelling before we set out to various points around the island. We had our life jackets and we hold on the the ring buoys and pulled along by our "snorkelling guide". For those who are adapt at snorkelling, they just swim around on their own steam. It was very enjoyable. On the last evening before we leave for Kawthaung the next day, there was a very enjoyable entertainment on the beach. On the whole, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Kawthaung and Nyaung Oo Phee Island and stays at the Victoria Cliff Hotel and Resort; the cost of which was not too expensive considering it included my return flights, 3 nights' stays at a very comfortable hotel and its resort, breakfasts and dinners (and lunch at the Nyaung OoPhee Island) plus the tours around Kawthaung. At the end, I wished I had stay a day or two longer. I spoke to a few guests who had returned actually to stay on longer.…
