Needed accommodation in Lower Hutt with parking (for trailer) $135 for one night. ..large room with mini fridge and kitchenette, clean tidy bathroom with nice glass shower. Bed comfortable. Sky in room. Friendly check in. Would recommend for a place to sleep. (Just seen a recent review which seemed harsh ...it slightly tired but they have tried to revamp....slight staining...

The pictures on the website (taken 2010) are a complete misrepresentation and don't show the holes in the walls, the dirty, stained furniture, lack of smoke alarms or security stays on the windows or the musty smell.

Very spacious rooms and lovely kitchen. Excellent parking area and very helpful manageress. Very private location which was accessible to the main routes. You had Lower Hutt to the right and Wellington to the left.

Every time I think of having to stopover in Wellington for my work, I remember the wonderful time I have at this Lodge. I can't wait each time to greet Special, Bev and Dean. They look after me so well and the facilities are wonderfully clean, warm and well prepared for my arrival. Real value for money.

Appreciated that this motel was "pet friendly" so we could stay overnight with our old fox terrier. We had a ground floor studio unit - very spacious for a studio with queen bed, 2 comfty chairs, SKY tv and kitchenette. Also a ranch slider for a small outdoor seating area that received morning sun. Clean and tidy and a very...

I found this motor lodge by 'Googling' Motor Lodges in Lower Hutt. I was staying for a work related project and had a couple of imperatives. The first was a restaurant on the premises, so I could work late and not have to worry about transport or getting dressed up to go out. The second, was a comfortable warm room....

Pleasant enough room and very clean, but I was puzzled by the complete lack of information provided in the room about what services the motel provided. There's no breakfast provided so you'll need to byo food. I was initially sent across the road to a restaurant belonging to another motel which was fine on the first night but on the...

This propertyhas relatively recently been taken over by new owners who are in the process of upgrading. Given that, we found that the immediate needs of clients (bedding and other in-room facilities) are adequately catered for. The units were clean and tidy, serviced daily by friendly staff, and met our needs. Layout of the rooms meant that the TV could...

A bit dated but very clean, spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable king size bed. Helpful and friendly hosts. Very close to railway line and motorway but we weren't disturbed with road and train noise. Large atrium in centre with pool table and comfy couches. Two floors, no lift to second floor. A bit of a struggle with suitcases.
