This place is across the road from one of the largest shopping malls in the southern part of the north island. This hotel is good value for money. It's what you'd expect for the price you pay. The staff are friendly and helpful. I found that parking involved some juggling due to their conference centre. Being that we booked two...

This hotel is just so handy to mall and transport .We flew down from Auckland got off the plane straight onto a bus which took us to the Angus Inn.The staff here are just brilliant nothing to much trouble. We were here to visit a life long friend who is in a retirement home which was a 10 minute walk from...

The Angus Inn is one of those hotels that have poor street appeal. Part of the reason is one half of the hotel, which may have been a bar, looks derelict and next to this is a shabby area where smokers gather. But needs must I had to stay in Lower Hutt and the hotel was across the road from...

Very popular motel across from Westfield Queensgate. Room nice and tidy but bed was too firm for me. Had bacon and mushroom fettucine...yum but I only managed to get through half of it. Tiramisu was nice but being fussy i would have preferred it crunchy not so soggy.

Service was good and friendly. Room was ok but would have expected free wifi. Wellington being on one of its windiest day of the year, I got my sleep interrupted due to the windows flapping. Plenty of water pressure in the shower (almost too much). The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was ok, and the staff was particularly friendly...

We booked the hotel for my mothers 80th party. My brother and I had been organizing the party from outside the country with Suzette who was wonderful. We had it catered by the hotel and the food was fantastic. The receptionist, Pat was very helpful in opening our room early, and was so friendly. I think more than anything it...

Use this often for work. The hotel is very comfortable with good sound proofing. Upstairs is the best option. Downstairs one side looks over a nice garden but the other side looks out on to the car park. Most rooms are modern but a few need updating. Excellent restaurant attached to this hotel an there are a couple of bars...

Service was good. Well priced. It was well organised and displayed well. The food was okay for buffet style. We would normally not choose buffets. N Big shame for us though the temperature off the food was warm not hot which spoilt the experience for us.

Room was quite small, ok for only one night. Had to lug two suitcases up the stairs, which is not easy when you are older. Shower over bath, which threw water all over the floor if pressure turned up.Again not easy when older. It was clean though. Offered a free newspaper for the next morning, which never appeared. No free...

This is the second time I have stayed at this quaint hotel! It's close to the company that I work for. It's pretty basic but the rooms are tidy and quiet the restaurant is nice and the food is good. It's right next to Westfield shopping mall which is handy. And they have a bird in reception Mr Pickles who...
