I had to attend a 2 day event in the area and stayed here. A typical German hotel. For some reason they want to have small blankets, but at least it also had a cover. Plenty of hot water, good wifi, they included breakfast, but I had to leave early each morning of my stay. The hotel doesn't do dinner... More

I've never traveled to Germany before and I was lured to Hotel Berghof based on pictures and reviews. Getting in late to a small hotel can be a challenge but Hotel Berghof was very accommodating. Check in was smooth, my room was ready and waiting my arrival. I felt welcomed and enjoyed my first German beer moments after check in.... More

The Hotel Berghoff is an excellent, small and friendly, hotel. It is quiet and convenient to the town. I had a double room which was large, and the bathroom was extremely clean and modern. A mini-fridge, electric kettle, wifi, and tv with a few English language stations were included and appreciated. The owners and staff were very helpful, especially since... More

While my room was on the smaller side, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating for our large group, and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. Dieter, one of the gentleman at the front desk, is super friendly and great to talk with. The restaurant has great food, everything from... More

Spacious and clean rooms. Very friendly personnel with fluent english. Tasty kitchen. We were dissapointed by breakfast which is served until 9:30, but there was almost no food at 8:00. I would not recommend the hotel for people with mobility dissabilities for there is no elevator and the stairs are a little too steep.

Very nice hotel. Very nice and helpful people. Room was large, plenty of room to move around. They offered a free breakfast in the morning. Excellent location, easy to get to places in town. Owner's were very helpful. When we arrived they had left for the evening but a quick call and they came right back and checked us in.... More

No matter if you come to Baumholder on business terms or revisiting to collect memories, Hotel Berghof is the place to go to. Of course, it is not the Ritz, but the staff and owner gives you the feeling of beeing at home. The rooms are clean and fulfill any european standart. I give both thumbs up!

We stayed at this small, boutique hotel for 7 days in December 2012. Very accommodating staff, very friendly and close to the Army garrison, the town and the main roads. The breakfast is typical and the coffee is plentiful We had the Friday "all you can eat" wings with Au gratin potatoes (fabulous), pasta if you wish, lovely salad, bread,... More

This is a small typical German hotel near the American facilities in Baumholder. They take good care of American guests. The rooms are no-frill, but really, if you just need a place to lay your head, this is it! Pets allowed. Free parking. Free American AND European breakfast. And most important? Free Wi-Fi that is true high speed. All for... More
