The staff in this hotel are extremely helpful and welcoming. We had some issues with our room and they immediately tried to fix this for us and then moved us to another room. Comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast included. Good location for exploring the town of Mekele.

After seeing 10 different rooms, each with another major dysfunction (no toilet sit in several of them, the water heater broken on the floor in another, doors to toilets that do not shut nor lock etc.) we had to demend our money back and go elsewhere.

First room had no top toilet seat, and water ran off from the shower and pooled on the floor, whose drain was blocked. So to enter the bathroom I had to walk into a puddle of water all day. Unacceptable. Second room lacked those problems. Internet failed to reach both rooms, so one has to use it in a lounge...

Stayed in this hotel many times due to business. The rooms are okay, but showers often lack hot water. The decor in the lobby is pretty nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's an okay place to stay I guess for the price. I've gotten bedbug bites a couple of times too, but the main thing is the...

Don't be deceived by the nice looking hall, this hotel is an unpleasant, dirty place to stay in. Rooms are in very poor conditions (it took us a while before finding one with working water and a toilet that was not broken), the moquette has seen better days and bedsheets were dirty and smelly. Did I mention the cockroaches we...

Plus: Its pretty central and close to ETT offices, the rooms were moderatly clean. Tip: Get the "single" room (which has a double bed) instead of a twin - save a third of your money. HOWEVER if you are two females or two males - you can't sleep in a double bed, you have to get a twin. But they...

If you think this is a real four star hotel, you will be dissapointed. If you think, that this hotel a bit better, than any backpacker one, you are wrong. They never pick up the telephones and most of the staff spaks only a local language. The lobby and the bar looks like an old, traditional hotel. The rooms are...

I had been staying in Milano Hotel a couple of times. The hotel reasonably cheap and located near the center of the business area in Merkel. The rooms are spacious and have the service is ok. Perhaps, the rooms require renovation since some of utensils are not functioning well. The service is quite good.

This hotel is horrible. The rooms are falling apart, plugs coming out of the walls, dirty, toilets with no backs, weak hot water, a sink that leaked water all over the floor, and TONS OF COCKROACHES. It was so gross.
