Stayed overnight, (with toddler), after visiting nearby Longleat Safari Park. Phoned ahead and staff made sure room was set up with extra bed for our little one. Good size room. Great shower. Good pub grub in the evening and cooked breakfast in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again

Five minutes drive from Stourhead and 10 from Longleat. Had a lovely stay here. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff friendly and food good. Bar prices reasonable too! The breakfast was not included in the price but was varied and good value. Next time we might bring our dogs as they are welcome in all but one of the 5...

This is our second visit, we stayed last year as well. Great rooms, really nice food at very reasonable prices and friendly happy staff nothing to much trouble. Yes breakfast costs extra but your offered a nice choice all cooked well (which is great if like me you don't fancy a full English! ) Will be staying again!

Great place to stay, great rooms, food superb, service excellent. I had the family room for myself, wife and two kids. The room was large, the wifi strong, clean bathroom, large shower. Great over all experience, definitely definitely stay there again.

Nice touches! Toiletries in the bathroom, which was bright and clean and Lovely clean towels daily. Please note though no hairdryers so remember to take your own....

Very pleasant lunch good pub lunch well cooked good value for money. Wine list a bit small. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Don't be put off if it looks quite. The large roast lunch is a real plate full and is a struggle to get through . Would lunch hear again if in the area.

Very disappointed. I have never lay in such an uncomfortable bed. Tossed and turned all night. Also need fitted sheets. 8 large flies in room and window hardly opened to let them out. Fair sized room but very drab. No heat control on the shower. Hard smelly towels. Breakfast nice but extra. Staff Meh. :/ Wouldn't recommend. Such a shame...

Had a lovely one night stay here! The food is the restaurant was nice, in the evening it was very quiet maybe a little background music would of been nice as there were a few couples who all were whispering as to not be over heard. Nothing major though and nothing that wouldn't stop us going back. Room was lovely...

Evening meal and breakfast was great. Room was very clean, modern , comfortable and a nice size . Staff were friendly and helpfull . My one gripe is the walk in fridge directly below my bedroom window ROOM 1... The humming noise was intermittent all through the night every 15 minutes, so as a consequence i went to work knackered....
