Stayed here in August with 2 almost teenagers. Great location, facilities were good. Very quiet campsite. The owner was very friendly and helpful and gave some good suggestions of walks to do. Not a huge campsite, so you won't be surrounded by the masses. The bus to Glendalough stops right outside. Shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.... More

We stayed here for a few nights this August and really enjoyed our stay. The site has clean facilities and is well looked after. Our children had a great time playing in the site grounds. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's a short walk from the site to the pretty village of Roundwood which has a number of pubs... More

Especially the open lay-out we liked. There are enough hard-faced spots for the big campers. But as owners of a small one, we did like the possibility to choose an own spot in the grass. Very nice showers: clean, enough space, nice hot water and a powerful jet (the first of our holiday ...). And the camper-service area is well... More

Didn't feel very welcomed by the owner in the first place when we wanted to check in. First campsite (of 14 we've been in in Ireland) where wifi wasn't free. Cricket pitches for our camper van and too windy for our roof tent (no ones fault - I know). Quite dirty showers in the lady's washroom (not in the men's... More

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely grounds and a beautiful village. Clean toilets and showers with separate children's toilets. Campers kitchen has a very small fridge and freezer. Full of children walking across the tables during the day. No kettle or microwave like the majority of sites. Dining table and chairs and a tv. Lady on reception not the nicest.... More

Great camp site. Great showers / toilets / water / kitchen utensil washing facilities. Great common / TV room for the kids. Quiet the night we were there - kids playing but no late night/stupid noise. Close proximity (short drive) to Sugarloaf for a great walk. Plenty of space & trees for the kids to run around in - and... More

We stayed here with a group of young people and the owner Jim was very helpfull. He welcomed us all and we could ask questions anytime we want. The place is quiet and clean. After 11 you're not supposed to make hard noises. Good if you want to go hiking early in the morning. The closeby lake is really nice... More
