Went with three friends for a bite to eat very relaxing and food wonderful. I must mention Dion their very professional barman who was making a Dunbrody signature champagne cocktail !!!!!! Unknown to him we watched as he made the cocktail with such care and concentration ...... When paying our bill I asked him what the drink was and he... More

I'm currently staying at Dunbrody Country House in Co Wexford and have been impressed with everything from the minute I arrived. I received a fabulously warm welcome from Margaret Sutton who then showed me to my beautiful 'Rose Room' bedroom. The room is bright, airy and elegant and is extremely comfortable in a super location. I had booked the BBQ... More

Spent a night here recently and wasn't impressed at all. When we arrived we had to look for someone to check us in as although there seems to be a checkin desk in the entrance hall, no one was around and alas when we checked out the same had to look for someone to pay the bill, First immpression count,... We got a blue book voucher as a present and we thought a lot about where to go to use it. We decided on Dunbrody House as our anniversary treat. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth and upgraded to a suite. The woman on check-in brought us to out suite and checked dinner plans and then left us. The... More

Pass this place by. Celtic tiger over priced. Went there for dinner on July 2nd. My scallops main course was served cold. The excuse was the inclusion of walnut oil. The strawberries in my partner's desert were not even hulled. What a lazy kitchen. Much better valued to be found elsewhere.

Since the first and only other time we booked a meal at Dunbrody House it has gone to a set price menu. 65 euros is a lot of money for three courses plus coffee - no nice petit fours - The starter was crab on thin toast the avocado moose that was mentioned on the menu was three tiny blobs... More

We stayed in dunbrody house for 2 nights last weekend and while there were certain aspects that we liked we were unfortunately more let down. Our dissapointment started after booking in which we had booked a double room with dinner force nights which was 590. As time drew closer I happened to be on the website 1 night and checked... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Dunbrody Country House Hotel. It is so quaint and the staff are so nice. We had lunch in the Champagne & Seafood bar along with a lot of lovely drinks. It was a lovely day so we were able to sit outside and take in the lovely surroundings. It is so peaceful and very... More

My boyfriend organised a night away here to celebrate my birthday. From beginning to end it was perfect. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite on arrival. We had our evening meal in the restaurant. The setting was beautiful and the meal itself was second to none. We went for a few drinks in the local bar, there... More

Visited dunbrody house for a one night getaway & I couldn't wait to leave! The place has very little to be desired & im not sure how they can rate themselves a 4 star hotel or even make it into Ireland's blue book! Our room was grubby, outdated & had vintage furniture that needs to be binned! 2 single beds... More
