Stayed recently. The place needs a good bit of money spent on it and unfortunately the food was very average. When we expressed our views it was not received at all well. We had heard about the food and made the journey in anticipation of a food experience. Very unfortunate

A real gem! I had wanted to eat here for some time. Myself, partner & our teenage son went for Sunday lunch. Fantastic atmosphere and decor. The ambience is quite chilled and the staff personal and professional. The food was everything you'd expect from a starred restaurant. The highlight of the day was my dessert - cherry panacotta. I have...

Dunbrody is a beautiful country house in Co. Wexford. We went for a few days over the Christmas break as we were looking for some R&R and the foodie experience. We left feeling disappointed by our experience, while we had a good time there are just a few things wrong with the place. Bedroom lovey and big, however it was...

Stayed two nights in the gorgeous Dunbroady. Beautiful warm, wonderfully decorated room. Very cosy. Made me feel so luxurious from the outset. Staff are very attentive. The breakfast is divine. The croissants were the highlight. They have lovely gardens and a cute pub on the grounds which was filled with guests and locals alike Highly recommended!

The hotel is beautiful, in such a nice quiet surrounding. The hotel is a good size with the cookery school located across the driveway. The restaurant is large, but there are snugs that you can relax into. All our Food was really good and I thought there was a good choice, for lunch pate wild game was very good, soup...

This place does not live up to all the hype unfortunately.. Yes the staff were friendly but they were in need of training and couldn't give advice on the menu which was very limited. Room was very basic with shabby carpet and and dirty windows. We were disappointed and when we tried to discuss our issues, we were hurried out...

Visited here with the Queens club. Fab place great decor and the afternoon tea was delicious. A little disappointed in the sandwiches as I'm mainly Vegetarian, fortunately I eat fish as there were no veggie options. Loved it and plenty to eat.

We happened to be in the area so we sought out Dunbrody House for lunch. We arrived a little early, so we pottered around the beautiful house and grounds. Lunch starts at 2pm and there is a fabulous choice at reasonable prices. We had the goats cheese tartlet which was substantial and the fishermans pie which was loaded with beautiful...
