This place is a proper B&B and I can't recommend it enough. The welcome was spot on; A handshake and a brief introduction of facilities etc followed by a cafetiere and a large meringue topped with fruit and cream. Gloria is so obviously passionate about the B&B and deserves all the credit she gets in the reviews. The service and... More

We arrived and was greeted with such kindness and warmth. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. We had amazing view from our room. Over looking the bay. We were given tea scones jam and fresh cream. We were offered more when we had finished. Gloria and her daughter Heidi were so welcoming. Told us all the information... More

We arrived here mid afternoon and to be greeted by a lovely cup of tea and some very fresh Honey cake which my Wife says is the best she's ever had. Such a quiet peaceful location with lots to see in the area. This B&B is perfect base to explore the surroundings with breakfasts to die for!

Sea Lodge deserves 5 stars for the fantastic reception and hospitality we received. Making sure we were happy, well fed and could get about the local area was the number one priority for the owners. The lodge is set on a huge bay next to a little spit of land which makes for a lovely setting to have you morning... More

Sea Lodge B&B is a lovely establishment run by a friendly and dedicated owner. I was a lone traveller (By motorcycle) and was made most welcome even though I arrived at a very inconvenient time. My room was small (A single) but suited my needs perfectly. The breakfast was simply superb. The full Irish with warm, home made bread. Cereal's... More

Can't believe this place has received a bad review, it's totally unfounded. Gloria & Frank are lovely people, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. For a good night's sleep, great breakfast and welcoming hosts I can highly recommend Sea Lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Sea Lodge B&B and would not hesitate to recommend it to discerning travellers. Gloria was most accommodating and I had the occasion to visit her beautiful garden with her the following morning and talk about her various plants and flowers. Breakfast was delicious and the entire area is relaxing and calm.... More

With the Easter sunshine beckoning myself my partner & another couple decided to pay a return visit to West Cork (beautiful place) & for the sake of certainty based ourselves in the Sea Lodge B&B. Being our friends first visit we were anxious to 'make the impression' regards our knowledge of local accommodation and I am happy to say that... More

Sea Lodge B&B is quite literaly what it says: a bed & breakfast - and that's it. What could be done to really accomodate the guests: - a little bit more warmth and empathy while treating guests - a lighted way from the parking area to the entrance - and last but not least avoiding the impression the location was...
