I have stayed at the Flemingtown House several times. It is a quaint and comfortable B&B with great owners who are very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect - close to Dublin yet country setting and nearby to many tourist sites in County Meath. In my view it is one of the best values and well worth it. If...

Another very pleasant stay at a very well equipped and resourced guest house. The accommodation and meals are first rate and the location surrounded by the horses and fields of sheep and cattle, heavenly. Yet, only three quarters of an hour from the Dublin Port ferry terminal.

Stayed here a couple of times. Love the full Irish breakfast and when coming in late cake, tea, chocolate, horlicks! etc. Beautiful setting overlooking mares and foals in paddocks. 10 mins away from Fairyhouse. The rooms very spacious and warm - perfect after a hard day at the horse trials.

We stayed here our first 3 nights in Ireland. It was an ideal location for visiting Dublin, Newgrange, Hill of Slane, Mellifont Abbey, etc. The couple who owned Flemingtown House were very hospitable and friendly. The food was good, although not homemade. Still our overall stay was very positive and I would recommend it. The only negative was that it...

We had a wonderful stay at Flemingtown House. Kay is a terrific hostess and cook - and her husband, Richard, is right there helping. A great couple, very friendly. It's a very large house, so you don't feel like you're intruding. Loved the lounge and the pool table! And seeing thoroughbred horses out the window is a real plus. One...

I stayed at Flemingtown House for the first night, and the last night of my trip. It is very nicely located near the airport, and also near some of the best sightseeing we saw in Ireland (recommended by Kay & Mike, the B&B owners). The breakfast was great, served in a very classy dining room. Our room was spacious, and...

My husband and I spent two nights at Flemingtown house and have nothing but praise. First of all, the place is just beautiful, it's a racehorse farm surrounded by other farms. The interior is quite pretty as well. Our welcome was warm and our room was comfortable and cozy. Michael is an excellent cook, probably one of the best traditional...

My collegue and I have stayed at FH twice before, the rooms are spacious and furnished in keeping with lovely old furniture, from our room window you look out onto paddocks with mares and foals and sheep in them. You always get a very warm welcome from Kath and her husband. Breakfast is very good with a selection of cereals,...

My husband and I stayed at Flemingtown House in March of this year (2009). We so much enjoyed our visit there -- the house is large but comfortable, our room was spacious and comfortably furnished. The best part was our hosts -- Kay and Mike are down to earth, warm and friendly people. We felt right at home there, and...
