We had our wedding reception at The Station House Hotel this August and couldn't have made a better choice. The location is fantastic, staff was very helpful and food excellent. The spacious garden with perfectly trimmed lawn and trees also formed a perfect background for our wedding pictures. Can only recommend this place.

We had our reception here the last weekend in August, from start to finish the staff at this family run hotel were top class! From the little personalized touches to getting a meal for a late arrival, and getting glasses so the groom could read his speech - Henry your team are lovely! The food, the ambience all added to... A nice restaurant close to the Hill of Tara. Good food great service and friendly staff, recommend the scallops and black pudding. My wife had the shake and she really enjoyed it. The meals were not too pricey and a good choice of wines.

I attended an outdoor wedding here recently. Stayed overnight and used this restaurant and bar. The wedding was beautifully organised. The reception on the extensive verandah was very tasteful with enough place for standing and mingling and seating for those inclined. The rooms were spotlessly clean. A bit small but fine for short stay. The staff were extremely friendly and... More

I went to a wedding here and found the dinner a disaster. We were seated in a cramped reception, which meant they totally overbooked the venue. The bar in the main are is only suited for a small group, and as the toilets as jsut by the bar, it is a gangway and terriblly crowded... the staff were totally under... More

We were here for the for the Wedding of my Nephew to the love of his life. The entire ceremony took place in the open air in a beautiful sunken garden on the grounds of the Hotel. The grounds added significantly to the occasion, the setting was perfect and no rain until the evening! This is a small but lovely Hotel... More

Lovely building, but that is its strongest point. Our food was only okay. I ordered a striploin steak, my parents ordered a fillet & my brother lamb. My starter of a duck spring roll, was nice, but small & overpriced. I ordered mushroom sauce with my steak but received pepper sauce. Also it clearly said on the menu that steak... More
