We stayed last night in this lovely hotel. Our package included tea / coffee & scones on arrival which were delicious. We were checked in and given the key to our room without delay by the receptionist. The hotel is old so you expect old fashioned furniture and fittings which adds to the charm of the place. Our spotless twin...

I wanted to find somewhere really different to bring my husband for our wedding anniversary last week so I booked the Signal Box at the Station House Hotel and for once in his life he was absolutely speechless! We stayed in the original preserved cabin that was used by the signalmen to change the points on the train. We rolled...

We stayed in the Station House because we were attending a wedding locally. I had stayed almost 30 years ago and was looking forward to seeing it again. I was really pleasantly surprised as return visits are seldom as good as first ones. Arriving at the hotel gave a stunning almost 'first impression'...the grounds in spring are stunning. Our welcome...

What a fabulous Mother's Day, made even better by the amazing weather. The station house was picturesque in the afternoon sun. We started out visit outside on the patio with some pre drinks and some lovely music played in the background. Afternoon tea was served in the restaurant and there was so much on offer. We couldn't fault any of...

My hubby and myself took a little trip up to Kilmessan to celebrate his birthday on a cold, wet weekend in February. Our room was tiny but very well equipt, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was gorgeous, very soft with good quality linen. The staff were lovely, always a smile and a hello as they...
