We were here for the for the Wedding of my Nephew to the love of his life. The entire ceremony took place in the open air in a beautiful sunken garden on the grounds of the Hotel. The grounds added significantly to the occasion, the setting was perfect and no rain until the evening! This is a small but lovely Hotel... More

Lovely building, but that is its strongest point. Our food was only okay. I ordered a striploin steak, my parents ordered a fillet & my brother lamb. My starter of a duck spring roll, was nice, but small & overpriced. I ordered mushroom sauce with my steak but received pepper sauce. Also it clearly said on the menu that steak... More

Four of us stayed here on Friday 8th July. I must say it was a day and night to remember, everything was just perfect. The 4 course dinner @29.95 was the best value, quality, and presentation we all agreed we ever had. We had afternoon tea on arrival which again we though was the best. The full Irish breakfast with the... More

We stayed in this lovely Irish country hotel when visiting the area for two nights with friends. My husband and I were given an upgrade to what was one of their bridal suites upstairs and we were thrilled with the extra space. The staff were very friendly and happy to please us. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners for the... More

On a recent visit to Ireland to celebrate a family birthday we had the dinner/bed and breakfast special. It was not our first visit to this hotel as we had been there five years ago. It was just as good as before, outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny day and a wonderful celebration dinner in the restaurant. This is a... More

Room in the Guesthouse was more like a prison cell, there was a cobweb with hair on it. second night was in the main hotel, room was nicer but still had a cobweb. The main course for vegetarians at the wedding breakfast was called butternut squash and spinach risotto. It was the worst attempt at a vegetarian meal I have... More

As a one stop shop for a wedding venue, this place is excellent. The staff are really happy to help in every way, it has a little 'amphitheatre' in the woods where you can have the ceremony. The food was great, the music can go on til dawn and breakfast is excellent as well. It has the feeling of a... More

Really enjoyed our stay at the Station House. It's in a lovely location and it's nice to see how a disused railway station can be converted so beautifully into a wonderful amenity. Loved the breakfast - nothing skimped on there. Professional, friendly and helpful staff ensured a very enjoyable experience. Excellent Wi Fi too.

Extended family day out. Lovely Hotel restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. We visited for a highly recommended three course meal and we were not disappointed. We had a very young child with us and he was well looked after by the excellent staff. Would highly recommend for both adults and children alike.
