Amazing friendly staff they couldn’t do enough for us. The reception on arrival were very welcoming. The service staff were friendly and looked after us all very well. The food was gorgeous and service was outstanding.. would definitely recommend this hotel 👍

As I was alone I had hoped to watch a film that evening. However the TV in my room reported 'no signal' and they weren't able to fix it. The adjacent rooms were the same, so I couldn't change rooms either. I was told they were new TVs, 'fitted two weeks ago', so it was odd that nobody had checked they were working!! Later, in the restaurant, the main course arrived ahead of the starter so I had to send it back; and the beer I asked for with the main didn't appear and had to be ordered again. I'm not hard to please, but these are all fairly basic fails.

Good stay close to sports arena breakfast room could have been better as Irish dancing championships where on having to go through breakfast room to get main hall. Should have different door form them not having to go through breakfast bar/room

Excellent service nothing was too much. Service was 100% excellent food. Staff were amazing. Great place for anyone going on a trip to Dublin on a family tip or a business trip. Can’t wait to return next year. Thank you for making my trip enjoyable.

Nice basic Hotel. Rooms are basic but clean and perfect for a one night stay before visiting Emerald Park We had dinner at the hotel and there was a good variety of choice and the quality was good. Breakfast was nice, not a huge amount of choice and the Tea was a self service flask which was awful Staff are very friendly and helpful

I booked a large table in early October, for my family with very short notice, in the Tara Lounge. I spoke with fantastic staff who were so friendly and helpful. There was approximately 24 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed a late afternoon meal. We had children with us too and they were well catered for. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. I don’t like to single out as all were great, but Anna spent a lot of time with us running around seeing to our needs. Thank you Anna. Again, all staff so friendly, helpful and courteous. You’re all a credit to the hotel. The food was delicious. Big thank you to the chef. You won’t go wrong stopping off at the City North.

We attempted to stay at the City hotel North on October 13th. The road to access the hotel was shut down. We drove around for 2 hours taking different routes suggested by the hotel to try to gain access. Ultimately we were unable to and as it was nearing midnight we needed to book another hotel. I called and spoke to the hotel manager, he had been dealing with the issue and had tried to speak with the road crew. He agreed to cancel our reservation and not charge us for the room. However that is not the action he took. He charged us for the room anyway and then refuse to return our phone calls.

Good afternoon DenetteJ_12 Many thanks for taking the time to relay your experiences . Yes there were roadworks on access routes towards the hotel on the night in question . These were out of our control but we had detailed alternative route guides for our guests . I have spoken with our night manager and he recalls the conversation you had and he assures me he informed yourselves that there would not be an issue in cancelling . You were initially charged for the booking by the third party company you made the booking with . We raised a"case" with said company Expedia and you were subsequently refunded. My front of house manager called your mobile a number of times to let you know this was the case . My sincerest apologies that you had these experiences and apologies if you felt your queries/concern were not dealt with as they should of been . Kind regards Ciaran o Donovan

In this day and age its great to come across such polite and friendly staff throughout, a great team of people. Food and cleanliness were also of a high standard, thank you & well done. Car park pin is a bit of pain though!!

Returning on an overnight flight from San Francisco we had decided to stop over at City North rather than face the long drive home the same day. Convenient to, but not too close to Dublin Airport, in peaceful surroundings, it proved a good choice to catch up on lost sleep and recover from the long flight. The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed and the staff were welcoming and appreciative of our needs. We will certainly consider City North again for similar trips in the future.
