Smart, well equipped hotel one hours drive from Dublin. Attentive (smiling) staff attended to every need without being obtrusive. Rooms very comfortable (especially the beds) and large. Good ensuite. Large car park and well maintained grounds. Is also a wedding and function venue but this did not interfere with our stay. Dining is excellent and easily catered for dietary needs... More

Lovely hotel, great food. Most of the staff excellent. There is always a but! Arrived at 6.40 pm to be informed our meal was 7.15. Case was delivered to room door at 7.10pm, hardly enough time to wash and change. On a main road enroute to motorway, so not very quiet. Locks on doors could do with an overhaul. Many... More

My husband and I visited Ireland last month and stopped for a bite to eat in the evening time. We had our meal in the bar area and the food did not disappoint. Lovely staff, friendly waitress looked after us all evening. Many thanks Hamlet Court Hotel :-))!

The hotel is a nice quiet location, and selected this one as I didn't want the busy traffic of a Dublin. Finding this was relatively easy but the parking is around the back, off of the main street and sometimes this was a bit of a jam once all the cars were parked. This was probably the only criticism I... More

Great place to eat always humming, and the food is delicious and very well priced Staff are very lovely the only thing I could see that would need attention would be the floor and partitions need a deep clean, there a bit grubby Plenty of parking and the choice of getting a half bottle of wine which is great

We went to the Hamlet for a night out and we both had fillet steak with pepper sauce. The food was lovely I would really recommend the steak, it comes covered in fried onions and mushrooms with french fried onions on top plus lovely chunky chips. The service was first class too...

This is the second time we have visited this hotel, and the standard has not changed. We were welcomed into the hotel at the start of our visit, and were shown into our rooms at a quick reception point. Rooms were spotless (as usual), food excellent and the veggie option was delicious. As we were only staying one night, this... More

We met up with our family here for a few drinks and a meal to catch up and was very with this little hotel. It's only a half hour outside of Dublin on the Galway road. The hotel itself doesn't look much from the outside but inside it's lovely. A family run hotel which you can feel from the moment... More
