Staying in this hotel with a groupon and most delighted with it. The food is excellent, room clean, staff friendly and helpful and despite what others have said regarding poor wifi, we found the wifi in the bedroom to be excellent. Looking forward to dinner in the hotel tonight again. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a two night Groupon stay recently in Ballyliffin Hotel. It was very clean, comfortable rooms and good shower over the bath. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room and the bar, but be prepared to wait for about 30 mins as service was slow. The food when it arrived was excellent and the staff were friendly and sociable....

We stayed for two nights mid week and though the hotel was almost empty we found our room small, all kitted out for a disabled person, poor TV channels and no access to WIFI. We were situated above the bar and the music on the first night went on till 2 am. We asked to be moved but they assured...

Stayed here at the weekend a few minor issues, the tv channels were poor, the wifi was only available in foyer and the breakfast was pretty basic but nice enough, but what made up for any minor problems was the staff , each and everyone were pleasant helpful chatty, I've never stayed anywhere before where every single member of staff...

we stayed for 3 nights and on arrival I was met by a male receptionist who said' You have to pay the €330 up front' which I did. No other conversation. Then as he turned and walked back into an office he said 'And your breakfast is down there (pointing) between 8 and 10 in the morning'. And he was...

Always a great visit with brilliant food and staff. Central to a vast array of sightseeing tours. Staff are very helpful, hotel is immaculate and nothing is to much trouble. There is a nice beach across the road and some great walks.

A first visit to Ballyliffin & an excellent stay at Ballyliffin hotel. A warm greeting at reception & our room was as requested with a sea view if quite a distance away. The room was clean if a little small but only a shower no bath was a little disappointing. However the staff were at all times most helpful. Breakfast...

There was a crack in the ceiling just opposite reception and water was dripping onto a table. The playroom has peeling paint, is in need of toys, a depressing place for children. The food was good, fast service, nicely presented but the chef would need to reduce the salt in the food, the soup was over salted as was the...

Genuinely friendly staff, always willing to help and assist with any enquiries. Property of a very good standard. WiFi worked well. Visited at weekend and the place was very busy. There is a special childrens' room off the dining area - useful for young families.
