After a lengthy flight delay and a 2.5 hour drive, I couldn't of wished for a better place to arrive at. We had the Spa suite and it was just amazing, beautiful room with beautiful views. The Spa element is made up by a very spacious bathroom with twin basins, a very spacious shower and a twin Spa bath which... More

The room. The food. The hosts. The views. The tranquillity. All of these were fabulous. This is not your average B&B. The house is very modern and there are only three rooms. We stayed in the Bayview Suite, which was just lovely. The breakfast each morning was lovingly prepared down to the decorative little flowers at the edge of the... More

Best B&B we have ever stayed in, Ginny and Neal welcomed us at our car on our arrival, showed us around their magnificent floor to ceiling glass fronted ultra modern building. Ginny cooked us marvellous breakfasts including granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and full Irish breakfast -all delicious. We especially enjoyed the... More

This was the second most expensive B&B that we stayed at during our recent tour of Ireland, and we rated it the fourth best. There are three suites and we chose the Bayview Suite. We were the only guests for the three nights we stayed here, which might have helped our “sleep quality,” as it was very quiet. The location... More

We stayed at Moorfield Lodge over the Easter weekend. I called directly to enquire about staying and when I spoke to Jinny she told me she hadn't yet opened for the season but after some thought she agreed to take us which we were delighted at. Jinny was very welcoming and helpful and everything in the house and room was... More

We stayed at Moorfield last weekend and had a great holiday. From our arrival until our departure , our hosts Ginny and Neil could not do more to make us feel welcome or help with recommending restaurants, even organising taxis also. The quality of our suite, with sunken double jacuzzi bath, could not be faulted. It was certainly five star.... More

This beautifully designed, modern building is the home of Ginny and Neil who gave us a great welcome. Our room was large, comfortable, beautifully appointed with a view down to Lough Swilly. We were given all the information we needed to find a place to dine and to see us off in the right direction the next morning after a... More

My partner and myself stayed at Moorfield Lodge for two nights in June and were blown away! The house itself is ultra-modern with loads of glass so everywhere feels bright, with great views out over the countryside. As well as beautiful, the location is peaceful and quiet. Ginny and Neil were really friendly, helpful hosts and made our stay comfortable... More

Had a lovely night stay, perfectly located for exploring North Donegal and its beautiful scenery! The Breakfast was gorgeous especially the crepes! Ginny is a great hostess and was very helpful with advice on restaurants and places to visit. The scenery from the B&B itself is amazing.
