I didn't expect a whole lot as it was reasonably priced but I still got less than expected. There is no way anybody could stay in a room that size for more than 1 night. In the morning the water was cold, so no shower. There was no heater or power problem - it was just that somebody had used... More

Travelled to the Bailie Hotel to celebrate my aunt's birthday last weekend. Found the staff in all departments extremely friendly and helpful especially the very jolly girl who served us our breakfast the next morning. Food was very tasty on the evening of the party and the following morning for breakfast. Bedroom was nice and functional - only complaint was... More

We didn't stay at this hotel, but had a very nice meal there at the Tailor Lounge/Bar. The ambience was very nice, & the Guinness from the bar was as good as any I'd had in Ireland, except for Browne's pub in Parteen. The highlight for me was a perfectly cooked salmon dish (Oven Baked Darne Of Salmon) with a... More

1. Very small 2. Old decor 3.rooms all at the back face on to a wall and it stinks of the kitchen fan so don't open your window. 4.the heat if you're put to the back is unbearable as its right over kitchen. 5.this in not a relaxing hotel at all sat-sun music till early hours. A group of us came down for our friends hen party. From start to finish the staff were amazing couldn't do enough for us. We went across the road to Sky Bar(part of hotel) to do our cocktail making class, this was amazing and the crack we had with Eoin our host was great, he got involved in the crack... More

The Bailie is a favorite lunch destination when we visit Tesco for a shop. Mister is especially fond of the Carvery, which is a great value at €10. I tend to choose from the Bar Menu, which includes lovely salads, sandwiches, wraps, starters, etc. The sherry trifle is always a treat. Good service, comfortable setting, efficient and friendly staff...what more... More
