The rooms are excellent, the house spacious with nice and quiet areas for relaxing after a day of travel and exploration. The Irish Breakfast is ideal, pleasantly served to order. The location is perfect, just outside of Dublin for easy access. The best part of the house? The proprietress. Anne is my Irish heroine. This was my wife's and my... More

This B&B is a well appointed accommodation on the main street of Rathcoole. It is a modern and comfortable detached house. Our matrimonial room was quiet, well equipped and clean. There was also a guest launch equally comfortable and quiet. We had our own key for independent access at any time. To start a day making anybody satisfied there was... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Banner house. Such a lovely and accommodating host! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area! The rooms were well kept and very comfortable - I felt right at home as soon as I stepped inside the door!!!

Was lucky enough to stay at the Banner House twice recently when I was welcomed in as an old friend. The B&B is clean and warm situated in an excellent location near Dublin in a lovely little village within striking distance of all local golf courses and race courses. There are good pubs serving a variety of food within walking... More

Just returned from a four night stay at this wonderful b&b and would not hesitate to recommend it. Our room was huge & the beds were SO comfortable. The ensuite was lovely too with a very nice shower & lots of fluffy white towels. Ann Eagers, our hostess, went out of her way to make us feel welcome & we... More

We needed somewhere to stay on our way to Dublin and after stopping at some B&B's with no answer, or they were already full, another B&B referred us to The Banner House. We had no reservation and it was late in the evening. Ann was very gracious to take us in. Beautiful house, parking was convenient, lovely bedroom, great wifi,... More

A pleasant stay near Dublin. The family room was really nice. The hostess gave us good tips on how to get to Dublin by public transportation and also recommended us a good pub nearby. A calm and quiet place to stay on your way to the airport.

I have been staying at this Guest House on and off over the past 20 years. I cannot remember when I started but I remember watching the demise of the Conservatives there when the youthful Tony Blair became Prime Minister of Great Britain. Got about two hours sleep that night ! Then it was a four or five bedroom house... More

I stayed with Ann for a week while I was sorting out some family matters. She was very welcoming, flexible and discreet - there if you needed something, in the background if you didn't. The room was comfortable with good wifi. Breakfast was whatever you wanted, plenty of it and wonderful homemade soda bread. Parking was easy, right outside in... More

Thanks to Ann for her wonderful hospitality during our recent trip in March. The accommodations were great as were her breakfasts and area tips she provided. The close proximity off the highway as well as the ability to walk to a very nice restaurant and pub (An Poitin Stil) were the reasons we stayed. I would definitely rebook with Ann... More
